As an important part of Chinese traditional culture,Chinese national musical instruments have a long history and a wide variety.In traditional Chinese music,timbre is a very important expression factor,and diversity is mainly reflected in musical instruments.In 2003,Juslin constructed a music cue consistency model(Music cue concordance)to divide the main factors of music-induced emotions into four parts,the second part of which refers to the effects of music works during performance,including speed,pitch,Strength,continuity and timbre.As one of the basic attributes of music,timbre is an important factor affecting music emotion recognition and emotional experience.The key to music appreciation teaching in high school is to improve students’ cognition level of music works.Students are required to perceive and resonate with the emotion,emotion and artistic conception in the works when they appreciate the music.In order to achieve good teaching effects in the music appreciation class,it is necessary to take "aesthetic perception,artistic expression,and cultural understanding" as the core literacy of the subject,so that students can experience the different emotions and connotations conveyed by music.Based on previous research,this paper focuses on "National Musical Instrument Timbre" and "Emotional Experience".To explore whether different timbres can help students perceive the emotions in music works in high school music appreciation class.The article is divided into five chapters.The first three chapters sorted out the relevant theories and the relationship between the two;in the fourth chapter,combined with the high school music appreciation class,a teaching experiment was conducted,and students were asked to complete the emotion after listening to music through the emotional self-evaluation scale.The self-assessment task explores the differences in the emotional arousal of high school students by the timbre of different national musical instruments;in the fifth chapter,a teaching case analysis is carried out around the influence of the timbre of national musical instruments on emotional experience,and an improvement plan for the teaching of music appreciation in high school is given.The article explains the main conclusions of the research in the "Summary" :(1)When the timbres of different national musical instruments play the same piece,there are differences in the emotional arousal of high school students.(2)The use of national musical instrument timbres in high school music appreciation classes can promote students’ understanding of music works,enhance students’ emotional experience,and improve students’ artistic perception.(3)Basically completed the expected goals,and provided supplementary research on the application of national instrument timbres in high school music appreciation classes.
