The continuous reform of the physical education examination system can better contribute to the cause of quality education in China.With the gradual attention of sports in China,the sports entrance examination has also been paid more and more attention,whether it is the optimization of the country’s policies related to the sports middle school entrance examination,or the positive response of the local government to the reform of the sports middle school examination system,all of which show the important position of the sports high school entrance examination in today.The current junior high school examination enrollment system cannot better reflect the requirements of the "five educations" of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor,and cannot reduce students’ excessive homework burden from the guidance of the baton.As one of the first batch of physical education examination sites in the country,Chongqing has included physical education in the overall score of the junior high school graduation examination for 16 years.Taking the optimization of Chongqing’s physical education entrance examination system under the background of the double reduction policy as the research object,this paper conducted questionnaire surveys and interviews with students and relevant sports workers from 8 middle schools with certain reputation in Chongqing(Chongqing Bashu Middle School,Chongqing Nankai Middle School,Chongqing Southwest University Affiliated Middle School,Chongqing Zishui Middle School,Chongqing Qiujing Middle School,Chongqing Dazu District Chengnan Middle School,Chongqing Pengshui County Siyuan Experimental Middle School,Chongqing Zhongxian Ganjing Middle School).This paper uses the literature method,interview method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,comparative analysis method,etc.to investigate and study the development status of Chongqing’s sports middle school entrance examination system,aiming to grasp the basic situation of its development and explore the existing problems,so as to provide a theoretical basis with reference value for the optimization of Chongqing’s sports middle school entrance examination system.Based on the investigation and research,the author came to the following conclusions: 1.Since 2007,the setting of Chongqing Physical Education Middle School Entrance Examination has undergone three innovations,and its innovative contents are:(1)from three fixed examination items in 2007(50-meter run,one-minute rope skipping,one-minute sit-ups)to 2008 standing long jump,throwing a solid ball with both hands on the head,and running 25 meters ×8 round trip;(2)The2011 physical education middle school entrance examination project replaced the original 25-meter×8 round trip running in 2008 with a one-minute jump rope;(3)The fixed test items set by the 2015 Physical Education Middle School Examination remain unchanged,but on this basis,candidates must take the women’s 800 meters and men’s1000 meters before they can participate in the other three tests,and the adjusted content mainly focuses on the assessment of students’ overall physical fitness.2.Chongqing Physical Education Middle School Entrance Examination still has deficiencies in project settings,and the individual needs of students are not enough to meet,which is easy to cause performance gaps due to differences in congenital physical conditions;The score setting has not changed since it has risen from 30 points in 2007 to 50 points so far;The evaluation method has always adopted unified on-site test results,ignoring students’ usual practice performance in physical education class,forming a sports training with the purpose of getting high scores,and reducing the fun of students’ active participation in sports.Compared with the projects,scores,evaluation methods and other settings in Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou,Tianjin,Yunnan and other places,it is still relatively lagging.3.3.Under the background of the "double reduction" policy,according to the analysis of the sports development of junior high school students in the questionnaire survey,it is concluded that:(1)the setting of Chongqing sports middle school entrance examination items is mainly for the assessment of students’ physical fitness;(2)After physical education was used as a scoring subject for students’ entrance examinations,the importance of physical education classes increased,and the frequent occupation of courses was alleviated;(3)Over the years,Chongqing has adopted a single final evaluation in the physical education middle school examination,and the students’ on-site physical education examination results are used as the final scores;(4)The proportion of physical education content in the whole junior high school physical education content stage dominated by the content of physical education middle school examination items;(5)In addition to focusing on physical education classes,the proportion of students using morning exercise and recess exercise time for training also accounts for a high proportion.4.Physical education classes in most schools in Chongqing are "training-based" classrooms;Compared with other provinces and municipalities,Chongqing has a relatively "outdated" plan for the establishment of the sports entrance examination system;The practice mode of Chongqing’s physical education middle school entrance examination system has "test-taking".In view of the research conclusions on the optimization of Chongqing’s sports system under the background of the double reduction policy,the author puts forward the following suggestions: 1.Return the physical education examination system to the education standard,so that the starting point and foothold can better promote the physical and mental health development of students;make the physical education examination system attach importance to the main position of students,and abandon the current concepts of "test-taking education","score theory",and "emphasizing wisdom over morality";Combine the physical education examination system with regional characteristics,that is,to de-"test-taking" and increase "interest".2.Enrich the project settings of Chongqing Physical Education Middle School Examination,and build a "mandatory test + optional test" mode to add sports test items.The setting of mandatory test items is mainly based on the assessment of students’ physical fitness(such as: speed,strength,endurance,etc.),and set up 4-5 more similar physical fitness assessment items for students to choose independently according to their individual differences.In addition,it is necessary to implement the 1,000 meters for boys and 800 meters for girls stipulated in the National Physical Health Standards as mandatory items,and to be included in the final assessment score.The optional test items should be set up to examine the sports skills stipulated in the "Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards",so as to combine the physical education facilities of various junior high schools in Chongqing and the actual situation of physical education teachers,and open the optional test items according to students’ sports interests,cognitive abilities and learning foundations.3.Reasonably increase the score value of the physical education examination and scientifically adjust the scoring standards.Cui Baoshi,head of the Department of Physical Health and Art of the National Education Bureau,pointed out that the physical education middle school examination should continue to sum up experience,and the score value of the physical education middle school examination should be increased year by year,and gradually achieve the same value level as the score of Chinese,mathematics,foreign language and other subjects.4.Under the background of the "double reduction" policy and the actual situation of Chongqing,establish a scientific,reasonable and standardized evaluation system and evaluation standards for the sports middle school entrance examination,and implement the "double reduction" policy into the sports middle school examination.Adjust the evaluation methods of the physical education middle school examination and establish a diversified assessment plan.Transform the evaluation mode from a single "final evaluation" to a "process evaluation + unified examination".5.Improve the rules for exemption from probation and add the examination of physical education and health theory knowledge,so that candidates who do not have athletic ability due to physical disability or serious illness and candidates who have not lost athletic ability but cannot participate in the physical education middle school examination can provide opportunities for higher scores.So that these students will not be disadvantaged compared with normal students’ reference results due to objective physical conditions,so that they can master more beneficial theoretical knowledge of physical education and health.
