Art is an important part of human spiritual civilization,and compulsory education art courses should take moral education as the fundamental task to cultivate and practice the core socialist values in the new era.Junior high school music teaching under the core literacy of music discipline has subtle and irreplaceable unique value in cultivating students’ aesthetic perception,cultural understanding,creative practice,and artistic expression.Combined with the content of the 2022 edition of the "Art Curriculum Standards",focusing on the core literacy cultivation of junior high school music teaching courses,taking the appreciation courses "Spring River Flower and Moon Night" and "Ode to the Red Flag" as examples,based on the core literacy of music disciplines,how to integrate into the teaching of music appreciation in junior high school is carried out,so as to regulate students’ cognition and emotions while appreciating music,maintain positive emotions and optimistic and enterprising attitudes,and have positive utility value for the cultivation of their core literacy.This paper is mainly divided into seven parts,the first part is the introduction;It mainly analyzes the reason for topic selection,the purpose and significance of thesis research and literature review.The second part sorts out the connotation of core literacy and analyzes and expounds its value implications;The third part randomly checked the quality of the core literacy of music subjects of junior high school students in Wang Pu Middle School,and analyzed the results in detail.The fourth part sorts out the problems existing in the core literacy of music subjects of junior high school students in Wang Pu Middle School from the three levels of school,teachers and students,and finds the actual situation and difficulties in the development of music teaching in Wang Pu Middle School.The fifth part takes "Music Appreciation Course "Spring River Flower and Moon Night"and "Red Flag Ode" teaching as an example to conduct research,through teaching material analysis,work analysis,teaching design,teaching process,teaching reflection,etc.,according to classroom observation and practice,reflect on the effectiveness and shortcomings in the cultivation of core literacy.The sixth part summarizes practical experience and puts forward implementable strategies for the teaching of appreciation of core literacy in music subjects.The seventh part summarizes the content of the full text,emphasizes the importance of core literacy,as well as the main work completed in the paper,and looks forward to how to improve the core music literacy of junior high school students in the next step.
