Research On The Development Of Mass Volleyball In Wenchang City From The Perspective Of Sports Geography

The Congress emphasized that promoting the all-round development of mass sports and competitive sports is one of the important links to speed up the building of a powerful country in sports.As an important part of mass sports,the development of mass volleyball is of great significance.Currently,the development of mass volleyball sports in our country is not balanced,the popularity is low,the overall development of the practical problem of slow.Based on its characteristics and advantages of sports geography,Wenchang City has developed into a "town of volleyball" in our country,which provides a practical reference value for the development of mass volleyball sports in other areas in our country.Based on the perspective of sports geography,this study adopts the methods of literature,field investigation,interview,interdisciplinary and logical analysis to analyze the development history of mass volleyball in Wenchang City and the value of mass volleyball in promoting the development of Wenchang City.Through in-depth understanding of the geographical environment of Wenchang City and the development advantages of mass volleyball,This paper analyzes the factors of geographical environment and development of mass volleyball sports in Wenchang City and summarizes the experience of development.The results are as follows:1.The development of mass volleyball in Wenchang City can be divided into five stages:introduction stage,development stage,peak stage,decline stage and new development stage.Since the introduction of mass volleyball into Wenchang,it has promoted the economic development of Wenchang City,enriched the cultural life of the masses,cultivated the good will quality of the masses,promoted the physical and mental health of the masses and improved the popularity of Wenchang City.2.Mass volleyball in Wenchang City has a broad mass base,a wide coverage of volleyball venues,rich event content,and various forms of organization.In addition to the self-organized volleyball games,government departments,industry associations and other organizations often hold large-scale volleyball games.The volleyball competition adopts nine-player volleyball competition rules,with greater flexibility.In addition,Wenchang public volleyball team has won the championship in various provincial competitions for many times with brilliant achievements.3.The suitable climate,flat terrain,good air quality,comfortable air pressure and abundant coconut tree resources in Wenchang provide available natural conditions for the development of mass volleyball sports in Wenchang;The policy guidance provides the political guarantee for the vigorous development of mass volleyball,while the economic development and the contribution of overseas Chinese provide the material guarantee.In addition,the influence of clan culture,festival folk custom,life style,stand culture,physical conditions and other factors makes the mass volleyball sport in Wenchang more dynamic,which is conducive to the cultivation of the participants’ sports subject consciousness.The development of volleyball sports in schools and convenient transportation provide conditions for the dissemination and promotion of volleyball sports in the public.4.In order to promote the development of mass volleyball in China,various government departments need to adopt correct measures according to local natural environment and local conditions to create appropriate sports environment.At the same time,the superstructure should strengthen the policy guidance,improve the level of economic development,promote the integration of mass volleyball and regional culture,and actively cultivate the participants’ sports subject consciousness.In addition,all regions should strengthen the construction of traditional characteristic schools of volleyball sports,attach importance to the development of volleyball sports in schools,and provide more opportunities for youth to participate in volleyball sports.
