With the "14th Five-Year Plan" Special Education Development and Upgrading Action Plan,researchers have improved their interest in secondary vocational education for hearingimpaired students,and provided many useful suggestions for the reform and development of secondary vocational education for hearing-impaired students.This study uses a combination of text analysis,interview,and observation.Firstly,the literature and policies of secondary vocational education for hearing-impaired students are analyzed.Secondly,through the investigation and observation of H school,understand the operation effect of vocational education and formulate an interview outline;Finally,taking the only H school in Hainan Province that has established the Ministry of Secondary Vocational Education for Deaf Students as a case,the current situation of secondary vocational education for hearing impaired students in Hainan Province is analyzed,and the shortcomings in development are found out from the aspects of educational institutions,social support and security,and family support,and corresponding optimization strategies are proposed according to the actual situation.The study finds that the secondary vocational education of hearing-impaired students in Hainan Province has made some progress,but there are problems in educational institutions,such as weak teachers,imperfect curriculum system,poor standard teaching operation,and insignificant educational effects.In terms of social support and security,there are problems such as low policy pertinence,limited job market,and low social acceptance.In terms of family support,there are problems such as low expectations of parents for students and unsatisfactory results of home-school cooperation.It is recommended that Hainan Province: In terms of educational institutions,expand the teaching staff,improve the curriculum system,adjust the teaching operation mechanism,and improve the educational effect;in terms of social support,strengthen the targeting of policies,expand the job market,and improve the social acceptance of the hearing-impaired;in terms of family support,parent visit days and parent seminars have been set up with a view to building an educational environment more suitable for secondary vocational education for hearing-impaired students and providing a high-quality learning and employment environment for hearing-impaired students.
