| Learning analytics technologies bring new perspectives to the field of education and drive change in education.As a commonly used learning analysis tool,the learning dashboard provides possibilities and approaches for the visualization of the learning process.At the same time,the learning dashboard is conducive to the realization of process evaluation,pays more attention to the all-round development of students,and meets the requirements of talents in the new era.In order to better achieve the all-round development of students,it is not enough to focus only on students’ intellectual performance such as grades,and mental health should also be widely concerned.As a common psychological phenomenon that has a significant impact on academic performance,academic anxiety deserves in-depth study.Studies have shown that learning dashboards have an impact on academic anxiety,and there is currently little research on the relationship between the two.In view of the above background,this study takes "The Impact of Learning Dashboard on College Students’ Academic Anxiety" as the theme,explores its influence mechanism,and provides direction for rational use of learning dashboard to reduce academic anxiety.Based on the theory of emotional cognition,achievement motivation theory and social comparison theory,this study uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,lag sequence analysis method,etc.to compare the academic anxiety level and academic performance of college students before and after the experiment,and explore the influence of learning dashboard on college students’ academic anxiety.Firstly,the necessity analysis of learning dashboard and academic anxiety is established by means of literature and questionnaires.Secondly,based on relevant literature,an analysis framework for the impact of learning dashboard on academic anxiety is constructed from the triggers and moderating factors of academic anxiety.Third,a dashboard containing basic information is designed to experiment with how the learning dashboard affects college students’ academic anxiety.Finally,according to the experimental results and interview data,an improvement strategy is proposed.The main research contents of this study are:(1)an analytical framework for the impact of learning dashboards on academic anxiety;(2)how learning dashboards affect college students’ academic anxiety;and(3)improvement strategies for learning dashboards.The study found that the elements of the learning dashboard were associated with the triggers and moderators of academic anxiety.The three types of dashboards,learning behavior,academic performance,and learning prediction,have different effects on academic anxiety.Among them,the learning behavior dashboard and the academic performance dashboard can significantly reduce the academic anxiety of college students,and the learning prediction dashboard can significantly improve the academic anxiety of college students. |
