Research On Ideological And Political Courses In Senior High Schools To Enhance Students’ International Perspective In The New Era

Since socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,its international status has been continuously improving,and the influence of international discourse has been increasingly expanding.In the process of promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and in the deep integration of China’s increasing approach to the world,it is of great significance to cultivate generations of new people with a global vision and thinking for the process and realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Ideological and political course is the key course to cultivate moral education.It has great responsibility and glorious mission in the task of training new people who bear the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the national ideological and political course symposium that ideological and political course teachers should "think new" and "have a wide vision".High school students are at the end of middle school and are about to enter the critical period of improving their education in college.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to strengthen the cultivation of international vision quality in high school for them to establish the global development concept and the global strategic vision as early as possible.At present,under the background of the new era,ideological and political courses in senior high schools still have some problems in improving students’ international vision,which are mainly manifested as teachers’ low attention to improving international vision education of students,students’ lack of initiative to improve international vision,lack of international vision education content in textbooks,and few opportunities for external communication between teachers and students.The main reasons conclude teachers lack international vision education experience;students are guided by the "score-only theory" without more time to improve their international perspective;insufficient support of schools for high school students’ international vision education.The main measures for ideological and political courses in the new era to improve the international vision of high school students include that firstly,the national education department should do a good job in the top-level design of the ideological and political courses on the whole;secondly,the school should make overall planning for ideological and political courses and the support of international vision education;thirdly,teachers should improve their personal political standing ideologically and improve their international vision from ability;finally,students should enhance the awareness of international vision and actively expand the channels for obtaining international information.
