In recent years,global public crises have continued to grow,seriously affecting people’s lives and threatening the safety of public life and property.In order to effectively respond to public crisis events and avoid or reduce the harm caused by crises as much as possible,it is urgent to improve the public’s public crisis response ability and literacy.As the reserve force of socialist modernization,primary and secondary school students must have corresponding public crisis literacy and the ability to respond to crises.Accordingly,the school naturally assumes the responsibility and mission of educating primary and secondary school students on public crises.From the three dimensions of public crisis awareness cultivation,public crisis knowledge popularization,and public crisis capacity improvement,the study understands the current situation of public crisis education in primary and secondary schools,deeply analyzes the factors affecting public crisis education,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on this basis.This paper comprehensively uses literature method,questionnaire survey and interview survey to study public crisis education in primary and secondary schools,and draws the following main conclusions: On the whole,teachers and students’ evaluation on the effect of public crisis education in primary and secondary schools is not so good,among which schools score the highest score for public crisis awareness cultivation and the lowest score for public crisis ability improvement.In order to further understand the influence of different grade and school variables on the evaluation of public crisis education,the study conducted a differential analysis.According to the student questionnaire,the evaluation of the school’s public crisis education situation by junior high school students was significantly lower than that of other grades,while the evaluation of students in ordinary and township schools in counties and districts was lower than that of ordinary and high-quality schools in cities.According to the teacher questionnaire,the evaluation of teachers in township schools is significantly lower than that of ordinary and excellent schools in urban areas,and the evaluation of teachers who do not hold administrative positions is lower than that of teachers who hold administrative positions.It is found that there are problems in primary and secondary schools in carrying out public crisis education,such as insufficient attention to the cultivation of public crisis moral awareness,poor popularization of knowledge of natural disasters,accidental injuries and network security,and relative lack of public crisis identification and psychological adjustment ability.In order to further explore the deep-seated causes affecting public crisis education in primary and secondary schools,the study found through multiple regression analysis that factors such as public crisis education positioning,assessment and evaluation mechanism,teacher crisis education literacy,crisis education form,and crisis education resources will have an impact on public crisis awareness cultivation,knowledge popularization,and capacity improvement.In view of this,we should improve the system design and clarify the positioning of public crisis education;Explore assessment and evaluation mechanisms to enhance students’ awareness of public crises;Improve teachers’ crisis literacy and popularize public crisis knowledge;Enrich the forms of education and pay attention to the improvement of public crisis capacity;Expand crisis education resources,improve the effect of public crisis education,and optimize public crisis education in primary and secondary schools. |
