As an emerging reading teaching mode,group reading has not only received widespread attention from many experts and scholars in the field of Chinese language education,but also promoted frontline teachers to conduct teaching research and practice on group reading.The current teaching of single ancient poetry is no longer suitable for the development of classroom teaching and the requirements of the times to improve students’ reading literacy.The "Chinese Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" also proposes to cultivate students’ core subject literacy.The teaching of group reading can stimulate students’ interest in reading,stimulate the vitality of ancient poetry,and revitalize the teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school by concatenating multiple short and concise ancient poems.Based on this,the author,on the basis of extensive reading of literature and considering the shortcomings in the current teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school,introduces group reading into the teaching of ancient poetry in junior high school and actively explores optimization strategies for teaching ancient poetry in junior high school.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the main body of this article is mainly divided into five chapters.The first chapter defines the relevant concepts of group reading,and discusses the main characteristics of group reading and its differences from other reading methods.Chapter 2 analyzes the necessity of teaching ancient poetry group reading from three aspects: the requirements of the times,the spirit of the high school entrance examination outline,and the limitations of traditional ancient poetry reading teaching;The feasibility is explored from two perspectives: conforming to the cognitive development laws of junior high school students and the layout characteristics of junior high school ancient poetry textbooks.Chapter 3 conducted a questionnaire survey on the student and teacher editions to understand and analyze the current situation and existing problems in the teaching of ancient poetry and lyrics in junior high school,mainly including students’ learning interests,attitudes,teaching methods,teaching evaluation,etc.The reasons for the existing problems were analyzed,establishing the starting point for this study.Chapter 4 introduces group reading into the teaching of ancient poetry and lyrics in junior high school based on the shortcomings of current teaching.Combining with the specific content of ancient poetry and lyrics in junior high school,it proposes optimization strategies for teaching ancient poetry and lyrics in junior high school from four aspects: reasonable design of topics,integration of group text,enrichment of teaching methods,and emphasis on evaluation and reflection.On the basis of following the optimization strategy of the previous chapter,Chapter 5 takes the eighth grade Chinese textbook "Spring Hope" as an example to design a teaching case for group reading,and summarizes the issues that should be paid attention to in group reading teaching of ancient poetry and lyrics in middle school.
