Novels are one of the four major literary genres,which play a pivotal role in junior high school Chinese teaching and are also an important carrier for cultivating and improving students’ core language literacy.However,most of the current novel teaching is based on a single text,falling into the mechanical analysis of the plot,characters,theme,environment and other elements of the novel,the teaching content is the same,and the teaching method is mainly based on "indoctrination" explanation or classroom "broken questions and answers",which is contrary to the concept of "learning task group" advocated by the new curriculum standard.The teaching design of large units takes the "unit" as a whole,integrates and reorganizes the texts in a textbook unit according to specific themes,integrates objectives,tasks,activities,resources and evaluation and other elements,gives full play to the main role of students,deeply explores the connotation of texts,and comprehensively improves students’ language use ability,which is an important form of current language teaching,which can provide new ideas and methods for eliminating the shortcomings of current novel teaching and promote the implementation of core language literacy.Based on the background of the new curriculum standard,this paper takes junior high school novel teaching as the research object and large-unit teaching as the innovation point,attempts to explore the teaching strategy of junior high school novel in large units,find feasible ways to optimize the teaching effect of junior high school novel,and provide teaching suggestions for front-line teachers.In addition to the introduction,this paper is divided into four parts,first of all,the introduction part mainly expounds the research background,significance,content,ideas and methods and research status of the paper,and uses the literature analysis method to review the current situation of large-unit teaching and novel teaching,and summarizes the advantages and shortcomings of existing research.The first chapter is a theoretical exposition part,which defines the concepts related to large-unit teaching and distinguishes them from unit teaching and group reading,on this basis,summarizes the connotation characteristics of large-unit teaching of junior high school Chinese novels,and analyzes the advantages of large-unit teaching for junior high school novel teaching.The second chapter analyzes the current situation of junior high school novel teaching,summarizes and analyzes the current problems in junior high school Chinese novel teaching through questionnaire surveys,interviews,and lesson case analysis,and provides a basis for the teaching strategies of the following text.The third chapter is the strategy part,which is also the focus of this research,which proposes targeted solutions according to the current situation of junior high school novel teaching,and provides specific and detailed teaching strategies from five aspects: goal determination,situation creation,content integration,task design,and teaching evaluation.Chapter 4 is based on careful reflection and active reference to existing research results,and based on the implementation strategy of the novel large unit proposed in this paper,taking the fourth unit of the ninth grade lower volume as an example to carry out a complete large-unit teaching design,aiming to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the implementation strategy and provide case reference for front-line teachers.Finally,through the practical research and case analysis of large-unit Chinese teaching,the advantages of applying large-unit teaching and the feasibility of teaching strategies in junior high school novels are strongly proved,and the shortcomings in teaching are also found,such as the difficulty of accurately measuring the implementation of learning objectives and the difficulty of learning content. |
