The teaching of high school argumentative essay writing is an important part of high school language writing teaching.A questionnaire survey reveals that the current teaching of argumentative essay writing in high school has problems such as utilitarianism in teaching purposes,lack of clarity in teaching priorities and insufficient attention to the cultivation of thinking skills.Mr.Liang Qichao’s "Method of Teaching Composition Above Secondary School" concentrates on his ideas of writing teaching,which has practical guidance significance for the current teaching of argumentative essay writing in high school.Based on this,the thesis will analyse the feasibility and significance of the application of Liang Qichao’s writing teaching ideas to the current high school argumentative essay writing teaching from the practical point of view of high school argumentative essay writing teaching,and then put forward specific application strategies and show relevant teaching practice cases,in order to provide some reference for solving the problems existing in the current argumentative essay writing teaching.The study of this thesis consists of five main parts:The first part is the introduction,which introduces the origins of the thesis,the current situation of the study,the significance of the study and the research methodology.The second part outlines Liang Qichao’s ideas on teaching writing.Firstly,the main contents of Liang Qichao’s writing teaching ideas are explained in terms of teaching philosophy,teaching content and teaching methods.Then,the feasibility and significance of applying Liang Qichao’s ideas on writing teaching to the teaching of argumentative essay writing in high schools are analysed.The third part is a questionnaire survey and problem analysis.Firstly,a key high school in Nankang District,Ganzhou City,Jiangxi Province is used as an example to investigate and analyse the current situation of teaching argumentative essay writing in high school through a questionnaire survey of teachers and students.Secondly,the outstanding problems of current high school argumentative essay writing teaching are summarized and outlined.The fourth part proposes specific strategies for the application of Liang Qichao’s writing teaching ideas to the teaching of high school argumentative essay writing.First of all,the teaching concept of "nurturing people" is highlighted by using a variety of ways to infiltrate moral education;secondly,the teaching content is adjusted to emphasise structure and optimise the "structure"-based writing teaching content;finally,the teaching method is improved to focus on writing process guidance Finally,the teaching methods are improved to focus on writing process instruction and to strengthen the training of "process" writing.The fifth part takes the writing task in the compulsory essay reading and writing unit of the unified version of the high school language textbook as an example,and uses Liang Qichao’s ideas on teaching writing to test its effectiveness in teaching practice and to reflect on the problems that arise in teaching practice.
