| Mind mapping,the conversion of complex text,numbers and other information into a clear knowledge structure diagram through a multi-color graphic approach,is a graphic tool created based on visualization of thinking and is a revolutionary global thinking tool that increases efficiency.The use of mind maps allows for brainstorming and helps people to quickly clarify their thinking.The complexity of physics fundamentals at the compulsory education level leads to students’ inability to form big concepts,high forgetting rate of students’ knowledge and poor learning status.In order to improve students’ physics learning ability and cultivate students’ logical thinking ability,the author proposes to combine mind mapping with junior high school physics teaching and discusses from theoretical research and practical research respectively.In theoretical research,literature research method is adopted to answer the question "What is mind mapping?" This question is answered.The concept,characteristics and application of mind maps are introduced systematically,and the advantages and disadvantages of mind maps are clarified by analyzing and comparing the differences between mind maps and concept maps,and the two different steps of making mind maps are described to lay the foundation for the subsequent teaching practice design of mind maps.The questionnaire and case study method are used to answer the question "How to use mind mapping in junior high school physics teaching?" This question was answered.A pre-test questionnaire survey was conducted on some students in a middle school in Nanchang to understand the current status of physics learning,physics learning methods,and the degree of understanding and acceptance of mind mapping in the school.In response to the results of the survey,a physics teaching practice using mind mapping was conducted.After the practice,the students’ performance data was analyzed and a post-test questionnaire was administered to the students in the experimental class to understand the students’ feelings and opinions after the teaching practice,which led to a more detailed understanding of the teaching effectiveness.According to the study,it was found that the introduction of mind mapping into junior high school physics teaching is beneficial to help students establish a good knowledge structure,inspire students’ interest in learning physics,cultivate students’ divergent and logical thinking,develop students’ scientific thinking,etc. |
