The core literacy mentioned in Physics Curriculum Standards for Senior High School(2017 Edition,2020 revision)contains four dimensions,among which scientific thinking is a crucial dimension,but the improvement of scientific thinking cannot be seen immediately;Physics unit teaching can show the teaching content or learning content as a whole.By establishing the relationship between knowledge,students can have an overall grasp of knowledge,and then solve problems independently.In this process,scientific thinking can be developed.It is an inevitable trend for unit teaching to develop scientific thinking and pay attention to the integrity of knowledge.In view of this,the teaching design and practice research of high school physics unit based on the training of scientific thinking are of great significance.This study adopts literature research,action research and other methods to carry out research.Firstly,this study studied a large number of literatures,sorted out the research status of scientific thinking and unit teaching,and summarized the theories of gestalt and nearest development area as the theoretical basis of this study.Secondly,I investigated the scientific thinking of some students in the practice school,got a general understanding of the students’ scientific thinking,interviewed front-line teachers,understood the status quo of unit teaching,and learned how front-line teachers develop in practice.On this basis,I put forward the principles of physics unit teaching and the process of unit teaching design: First of all,the teaching elements such as curriculum standards and textbooks are analyzed as a whole.Then,the unit theme is determined,the teaching objectives of the unit are designed and the unit teaching activities are planned and implemented.Finally,the effectiveness of the unit teaching is evaluated and reflected.In this study,a chapter of "Ampere-Force and Lorentz Force" in optional compulsory Course 2 is selected as the unit teaching content.The unit theme is named "Analysis and Reasoning of Charged Particles’ motion in Magnetic Field".The teaching design of this unit is presented in accordance with the unit design principle and the design process,and the training of students’ scientific thinking is highlighted in the unit teaching design.The goal of unit teaching is to teach each class hour,so the author shows the teaching design of two class hours of this unit.After the physics unit teaching practice based on the training of scientific thinking,through the analysis of the scores of the test questions of the physical science thinking literacy of the experimental class and the control class,it is found that the students have improved in the construction of four dimensions of the model of scientific thinking,and through the analysis of the interview results of the students,it can be seen that the students can skillfully apply the physical model to solve problems.It can dialectically analyze the conceptual relations in physics.The practice results show that the unit teaching design and practice based on the training of scientific thinking can cultivate students’ scientific thinking.The process of unit teaching design of high school physics based on the training of scientific thinking provides research ideas for the research of unit teaching design process,including content analysis and selection,theme selection,etc.The unit teaching design of "Analysis and reasoning of charged particles in magnetic field motion" and detailed class hour teaching design can also be used as a reference case in practical teaching.
