Private kindergartens account for a large proportion of preschool education and are an indispensable part of the current development of preschool education in China.However,in recent years,the crisis of private kindergartens has made headlines on social media and news information,especially in this media era with highly developed information dissemination,involving sensitive issues such as child abuse,poisoning,student injury,teacher behavior distortion,and unlicensed teaching,which have subtly affected the trust of the broad audience in private kindergartens and the loss of students.At the same time,the attention and comments from all walks of life on the crisis in kindergartens have risen to private kindergarten teachers,and indiscriminate attacks have increasingly led to the loss of private kindergarten teachers.Based on this background,in the face of the continuous occurrence of various emergencies dormant in private kindergartens,the school’s crisis management personnel urgently need to find effective crisis prevention and crisis response methods,so that they can calmly respond to sudden crises.Therefore,the research on crisis management of private kindergartens is of practical significance.This thesis mainly adopts the case study method,firstly,the understanding and views of the principal and teachers of a private kindergarten in Shihezi on crisis management in the face of crisis and their various practices in handling crisis events are deeply restored.The study found that the crises that the private kindergarten has experienced include security crises and reputation crises,and the crises it is experiencing include personnel crises and development crises.Secondly,based on Robert Heath’s 4R theory of crisis management and You Changqiao’s 5S crisis response principle,the flashpoints and deficiencies in the crisis management process of the kindergarten are analyzed,and finally,based on the analysis of the crisis management case of the kindergarten above,taking the optimization of kindergarten crisis management as the starting point,combined with Robert Heath’s 4R crisis management stage theory,the crisis management of the kindergarten is divided into four stages: reduction,preparation,response and recovery.For each stage,the optimization strategy of crisis management of private kindergartens is proposed.The details are as follows:First,through the investigation of Shihezi X private kindergarten using the interview method and the physical collection method,we initially understood the general situation of the kindergarten.Among them,the overview mainly includes the history of the kindergarten,the kindergarten safety organization,the kindergarten teacher profile and the kindergarten enrollment profile.Second,interviews and physical collections were used to obtain as much first-hand information as possible about different types of crises at the university.First of all,according to Xing Liya’s division in "Kindergarten Crisis Management",it is found that the crises that the private kindergarten has experienced include security crises and reputation crises,and the crises it is experiencing include personnel crises and development crises.Secondly,based on Robert Heath’s 4R theory and 5S principles of crisis management,the flashpoints and shortcomings are analyzed.It is found that the shining points of the kindergarten in the four stages of crisis management reduction,preparation,response and recovery are as follows: the shining point in the crisis reduction management stage is mainly to strengthen personnel management and reduce the impact of the crisis.The shining point in the crisis preparation management stage is mainly the rich crisis emergency plan,the normalized crisis handling department implemented according to the actual local conditions of the park,and the clear job responsibilities,basic personnel and equipment crisis warning.The shining points in the crisis response management stage are mainly to follow the principles of speed first and people-oriented,follow the principles of courage to take responsibility and sincere communication,and follow the principles of collaborative governance and authority to prove.The shining point in the crisis recovery management stage is mainly to establish typical cases and summarize crises into opportunities in a timely manner.Finally,while summarizing the flashpoints of crisis management,it is concluded that the shortcomings of the private kindergarten in the crisis management process are as follows: the shortcomings in the crisis reduction management stage are mainly the insufficient risk assessment.The shortcomings in the crisis preparation management stage are mainly the lack of dynamic early warning system,the lack of contingency plans for unknown risks,and the lack of classification and grading of emergency plans.The shortcomings in the crisis response management stage are mainly the untimely information channels of crisis management,the shortcomings in the crisis recovery management stage are mainly the lack of professional psychological counseling rooms and health care rooms,and the imperfect image remodeling mechanism.Third,based on the analysis of the kindergarten crisis management case above,taking the optimization of kindergarten crisis management as the starting point,combined with Robert Heath’s 4R crisis management stage theory,the crisis management of kindergarten is divided into four stages.The four phases are reduction,preparation,response and recovery.For each stage,the optimization strategy of crisis management of private kindergartens is proposed.Among them,the crisis management reduction strategy of kindergartens is mainly to strengthen risk assessment,divide risk level standards,and strengthen the crisis awareness of teachers and students.The pre-crisis management strategy of kindergartens is mainly to improve the dynamic crisis early warning mechanism,increase the contingency plan,and classify and grade the existing plan.The crisis management response strategy of kindergartens is mainly to establish crisis management information channels and cooperate with multiple parties to carry out crisis management,among which joint multi-party crisis handling includes: broadening support channels,implementing a variety of support methods,improving the professional quality and quality of teachers,improving teachers’ treatment,and improving the structure of the teacher team.The crisis management recovery strategy of kindergarten is mainly to set up professional psychological counseling rooms and health care rooms,and carry out crisis public relations to restore reputation. |
