| With the constantly changing social environment and the widespread popularity of the Internet,new media has continuously enriched and strengthened the development of sports media,and sports information has become an important part of new media dissemination.As the main audience of new media information,college students have a high demand for new media information.They use various new media tools to help them explore new things,receive various types of information,and interact with society.This not only affects their thinking and behavioral cognition,but also affects their daily physical exercise behavior.This study focuses on the impact of new media sports information on college students’ physical exercise behavior,and conducts a questionnaire survey on 540 non sports major undergraduate students from Shanxi University.Mainly using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,interview and mathematical statistics,in-depth research on the current situation of college students’ access to new media sports information and physical exercise behavior,analyze the correlation between new media sports information and college students’ physical exercise behavior,find out the existing problems,propose improvement measures and suggestions,and further promote the development of students’ physical exercise behavior.Through research,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The current situation of college students’ exposure to new media sports information is not ideal,and the level of exposure is relatively shallow.The cultural literacy of sports still needs to be strengthened.Currently,the main problem in the dissemination of new media sports information is that the information is false and untrue,which is somewhat misleading;(2)The frequency and time of college students participating in physical exercise are insufficient to achieve fitness or health goals,and the amount of sports consumption is relatively low;(3)New media sports information has an impact on college students’ physical exercise programs,exercise forms,exercise duration and frequency,exercise intensity,and sports consumption amount.The frequency and time of exposure to sports information are positively correlated with their exercise duration,frequency,intensity,and consumption amount;(4)The differences in the impact of new media sports information on different genders are manifested in the duration of physical exercise for female college students and the intensity and amount of physical exercise consumption for male college students;The grade difference is manifested in its higher impact on physical exercise behavior among sophomore and junior students compared to other grades;The difference in majors is reflected in its higher impact on the duration and frequency of physical exercise among college students majoring in literature and history compared to other majors,with the greatest impact on the amount of sports consumption among college students majoring in science and engineering.Based on the conclusion,this article proposes the following suggestions:(1)The country should attach importance to and standardize the direction of new media dissemination of information,help college students obtain accurate and effective sports information,and establish their correct concepts and cognition of sports;(2)Personnel involved in disseminating information through new media should strive to disseminate valuable sports information and pay more attention to the scientific and truthful nature of the information;(3)Universities should strengthen the construction of campus sports culture,use new media to disseminate correct sports information,and subtly enhance students’ interest in participating in physical exercise;(4)College students should be good at absorbing high-quality new media sports information,regularly participate in physical exercise activities,and promote the development of healthy sports behaviors. |
