| Social anxiety is an important factor affecting junior middle school students’ school life,academic achievement and personality development.Nowadays,junior middle school students are facing the current situation of heavy study and stiff competition.It is important to study how to change junior middle school students’ social anxiety and help them form good interpersonal relationships and how to adapt to social practice At present.some studies have shown that peer rejection is related to social anxiety,but how peer rejection affects social anxiety still needs to be further explored.From a new perspective,this study explores the mechanism of negative evaluation fear and self compassion as a chain intermediary between peer rejection and junior middle school students’ social anxiety behavior.In this study,1253 junior middle school students in Pingdingshan and Kaifeng were investigated by questionnaire.The results are as follows:(1)The peer refusal of junior middle school students showed significant differences in grade,place of origin and age;There was no significant difference in gender.(2)The negative evaluation fear of junior middle school students showed significant differences in gender,place of origin,grade and age.(3)The self-compassion of junior middle school students showed significant differences in gender,place of origin and grade;There was no significant difference in age.(4)There are significant differences in junior middle school students’ social anxiety in gender,place of origin,grade and age.(5)Peer rejection was positively correlated with social anxiety and fear of negative evaluation,and negatively correlated with self-compassion Negative evaluation fear was negatively correlated with self sympathy and positively correlated with social anxiety;Self-compassion was negatively correlated with social anxiety.(6)Peer rejection,negative evaluation fear,self sympathy and social anxiety constitute a chain mediation model.Based on the findings and practical situations,the following educational suggestions are made:(1)Teach students the correct way of communication and reduce peer rejection.(2)Help students establish correct cognition and overcome the fear of negative evaluation.(3)Train students to treat things correctly and improve their ability of self compassion. |
