| The problem of college students’ physical health has always been the top priority of national education, and the research and development of physical fitness test has increasingly become a hot topic.According to the national physical fitness monitoring report, compared with other monitoring indicators, the overall level of pull-up performance has been at the bottom for a long time.In this study, combined shoulder and back training intervention was used to explore its influence on college students’ pull-up initiation difficulties, and relevant experimental data were obtained to provide data reference and practical experience for improving the pass rate of pull-up project. In this study,60 male students from Anhui Polytechnic University with 0 pull-up score and normal BMI(18.5≤BMI≤23.9)were selected as the subjects who met the criteria.Combined with the opinions of relevant experts, the training means selected for the experimental group were:farmer’s walk, dumbbell back lift, elastic band high pull-down,elastic band pull-up,rope climbing, trolley, supine pull-up and centrifugal pull-up.The control group used regular upper body strength exercises in the classroom, and the experimental group used combined shoulder and back training for the intervention to investigate its effect on the difficulty in initiating pull-ups in college students. The data of each index were measured after the intervention, and the following findings were obtained.(1)Scapular pull-up index: there was a significant difference between the control group and the experimental group(P<0.001),and there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.001).(2)Reverse shoulder shrugging index: there was a highly significant difference between the control group(P<0.001)and the experimental group(P<0.001),and there was a highly significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.001).(3)Flexion-arm dip index: there was a highly significant difference between the control group before and after(P<0.001)and the experimental group before and after(P<0.001),and there was a highly significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the post-test performance(P<0.001).(4)Pull-up machine(auxiliary weight)index: there was a highly significant difference between the control group before and after(P<0.01),an extremely significant difference between the experimental group before and after(P<0.001),and an extremely significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the post-test performance(P<0.001).(5)First half pull-up index: there was a significant difference between the control group(P<0.05)and the experimental group(P<0.001),and there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P< 0.001).(6)Pull-up index: there was a significant difference before and after the control group(P<0.05),an extremely significant difference before and after the experimental group(P<0.001),and an extremely significant difference between the post-test scores of the experimental group and the control group(P<0.001).The study concluded that:(1)After a 12-week intervention of classroom conventional upper body strength exercises in the control group, there was a certain degree of significant difference between the pre and post of each index, but the mean performance improvement space of each index was relatively small, indicating that the classroom conventional upper body strength exercises used in the control group were inefficient and relatively ineffective in improving the performance of each test index.(2)In the experimental group, after 12 weeks of training intervention, there were significant differences between the post-test scores of the experimental group and the control group as well as the comparison of the pre and post-test scores of the experimental group, and the average scores of each index had a relatively large room for improvement, indicating that the combined shoulder and back training used by the experimental group was highly efficient and had a relatively significant effect on the improvement of each index.(3)The combination shoulder and back training used by the experimental group was more targeted and could produce more accurate stimulation and exercise for the muscle groups involved in the pull-up initiation session.(4)The classroom routine exercise method used by the control group was single and lacked a certain degree of interest, while the combination shoulder and back training method used by the experimental group was rich in variety, relatively new and interesting, which could effectively improve the students’ initiative and enthusiasm to participate in training. |
