| Objective: Forests are the best destination for promoting healthy living,the core foundation for building a healthy environment,and can provide an important place for the implementation of the "Healthy China" strategy.At present,forest health industry has become a new form and model of our big health industry.Relevant studies have confirmed that the development of martial arts,yoga,tai chi and other health and fitness activities in the forest environment plays a good role in promoting people’s physical and mental health.At the same time,the rapid development of urbanization has a great impact on people’s mental health.Research reports say that the detection rate of mental problems among Chinese children and adolescents is very high,especially after the epidemic,the mental health of children and adolescents has been widely concerned by the society.Therefore,this paper takes primary school students as the research object,through the forest environment to carry out children’s Baduanjin exercise,explore the forest environment and the integration of health activities on the mental health of primary school students.This study can provide a green exercise program and theoretical support for children and adolescents to improve their mental health and realize scientific exercise.Methods: 56 primary school students were selected as the experimental objects of this study.All the subjects were volunteers.The experimental subjects were divided into experimental group and control group,28 students in each group.The experiment lasted for 10 weeks.Then,the experimental group was organized to participate in a weekly forest health and exercise activity with children’s Baduanjin as the exercise content,while the control group completed normal study and life without other intervention.The experimental group and the control group were filled in the psychological scale of Mood State Scale(POMS),Childhood Depression Scale(CDI)and Adolescent Happiness Scale(EPOCH)before and after the experiment,respectively.Finally,the experimental results of three psychological scales measured before and after the experiment were compared and analyzed to explore the effects of children’s Baduanjinkang maintenance activities in the forest environment on children’s mental health,such as mood state,depression level and happiness.Results:(1)In terms of mood state,the experimental group achieved significant differences in anger and fatigue before and after the experiment.There were significant differences in the five dimensions of stress,depression,energy,panic and self-esteem.(2)In terms of depression level,the experimental group achieved significant differences in the four dimensions of anhedonia,negative emotion,negative self-esteem and low efficiency before and after the experiment,and the total score reached a very significant difference,but there was no significant difference in the dimension of interpersonal problems;(3)In terms of happiness level,the experimental group achieved extremely significant differences before and after the experiment in three dimensions of engagement,persistence and total score,significant differences in two dimensions of optimism and happiness,but no significant differences in relation dimension.Conclusion:(1)The combination of physical exercise and forest environment can improve the mood state of primary school students.Children’s Baduanjin exercise in the forest environment can effectively reduce the negative emotions of tension,anger,fatigue,depression,panic,and increase the positive emotions of energy and self-esteem.(2)The combination of physical exercise and forest environment can reduce the level of depression in primary school students.Children’s Baduanjin exercise in the forest environment can improve the psychological health of primary school students in anhedonia,negative emotions,negative self-esteem,low efficiency,but there is no significant change in improving interpersonal relations.(3)The combination of physical exercise and forest environment can improve the happiness level of primary school students.The children’s Baduanjin exercise in the forest environment can promote the mental health level of pupils in the aspects of devotion,persistence,optimism,happiness and so on.But in relation dimension,there is no significant change.Therefore,the combination of physical exercise and forest environment can effectively improve the mood state of primary school students,reduce their depression level and improve their happiness level.This study proposed to carry out children’s Baduanjin health exercise in the forest environment can be a healthy and green exercise program beneficial to children’s mental health. |
