Festival culture is an important part of the Chinese nation traditional culture,the kindergarten on the foundation bear the mission to carry forward Chinese excellent traditional culture,traditional festival at the same time education is of great significance for children’s growth,education can not only make children feel the charm of culture festival,and can promote the development of children’s emotion,personality and sociality,etc.However,previous studies on festival education are mainly conducted from the standpoint and perspective of adults,while few scholars have been involved in studies on festival education from the perspective of children.Therefore,this study intends to improve and suggest festival education in existing kindergartens from the perspective of children by exploring children’s real cognition and experience of festivals,in order to give children a good sense of festival experience.On this basis,children can realize their own cultivation and growth.This study adopts the method of observation,interview method,paintings analysis as research methods,and selection of L,a public kindergarten two group of 56 children as study participants,through the research by qualitative analysis tool Nvivo12 software produced in the process of the text of the interview and children’s paintings were collected for entry,coding and analysis.It is found that children’s cognition and experience of the Dragon Boat Festival are closely related to their life experience and growing environment.Children’s cognition of the Dragon Boat Festival covers their cognition of the concept,time,customs and significance of the Dragon Boat Festival from four aspects.At the same time,children outline and elaborate their way of celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival from ideal and realistic perspectives.Teachers and parents are two main factors that affect children’s cognition and experience of festivals.On the basis of analyzing the specific influence of adults on children’s cognition and experience of festivals,the author puts forward the following suggestions in order to enable children to have a good festival experience: First,adults should guard the childlike innocence in festivals,respect children’s interpretation of festivals,and understand the "immature" phenomenon in children’s cognition of festivals;Secondly,adults should listen to the voice of children in the festival,to satisfy children’s curiosity,maintain children’s self-esteem and return to the main position of children’s festival;Thirdly,adults’ holiday education for children needs "natural" factors.Finally,home plays an important role in children’s cognition and experience of festivals.Home is the source of children’s happy holiday experience.Families should create a harmonious family atmosphere for children while providing them with high-quality holiday company.Children have their own unique cognitive characteristics and spiritual world.Only by returning to children’s perspective to recognize children’s cognition and experience children’s experience can adults further understand children’s spiritual world,reduce adult’s influence on children and alienation,and enable children to realize their own cultivation and growth on the basis of having a good sense of festival experience.
