With the implementation of the "double reduction" policy and the comprehensive development of after-school services,primary and secondary school students have more abundant extracurricular time and relaxed physical and mental state to participate in sports activities,after-school sports services emerge at the right moment.Good after-school sports service is helpful to improve students’ physical and mental health and sports skills,cultivate competitive sports reserve talents,and help students establish lifelong sports consciousness.However,as a new product of education reform,the operation and development mechanism of after-school sports service need to be explored and improved.In this paper,literature,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and other research methods are used to study the current situation and the realistic predicament of after-school sports services in primary and secondary schools in Kashgar,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.It is found that there are many practical dilemmas,such as policies,funds,cognition,teachers and venues.After in-depth analysis,it puts forward some suggested countermeasures to break through the dilemma.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)Since the autumn semester of 2021,all the compulsory education schools in Kashgar have launched after-school services,and the coverage rate of students participating in the "5+2" mode of after-school services is 91%;After-school sports services have basically achieved "from scratch",but the frequency and duration of development are insufficient,and the content is not rich enough,there are some differences between urban and rural areas.Teachers,students and parents of after-school sports services in primary and secondary schools in Kashgar are not satisfied with the current situation of after-school sports services,and most of them have strong expectations and intentions for the reform of after-school sports services.(2)Kashgar primary and secondary school after-school sports service is faced with many practical difficulties,mainly manifested in: lack of complete policy guidance and overall design;Insufficient investment and guarantee of special funds;It is difficult to eradicate the thought of "emphasizing literature and light body";School autonomy and lack of creativity;Supervision and evaluation mechanism lag behind;Limitations on teachers and equipment;Family,school,social linkage is not coordinated.(3)In order to break through the dilemma of after-school sports service,it is necessary to strengthen policy guidance and improve the rules and regulations related to after-school sports service with policy tools;Multi-party cooperation,effectively guarantee the school sports special fund investment and operation;Strengthen sports publicity work,improve the level of sports cognition;Create a favorable environment to stimulate school autonomy and creativity;Optimize the supervision and evaluation mechanism of after-school sports service by multiple ways;Diversified breakthrough teachers,venues and equipment restrictions;Strengthen the three-party linkage between "home,school and community" to make full use of social resources;Attach importance to the opinions of teachers,students and parents,and continue to promote after-school sports service reform. |
