"The country can’t flourish without morality, and people can’t stand without morality",especially in elementary school,we should guide students to "fasten the first button of life",grasp the ideological and moral education, and implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education. The cultivation of moral behavior habits is a key part of ideological and moral education, and is the external manifestation of moral internalization. In order to achieve the purpose of scientifically measuring children’s moral behavior habits and then effectively cultivating and training them, this study conducted three sub-studies:Study 1 reported the development and psychometric performance of the Moral Behavior Questionnaire for Elementary School Students;Study 2 investigated the current situation and characteristics of moral behavior habits of students in grades 3-6 in six elementary schools in Hubei Province with the self-administered Moral Behavior Questionnaire for Elementary School Students;Study 3 conducted a group counseling experiment on moral behavior habits according to the development status.group counseling experiment on moral behavior habits to explore the effect of group psychological counseling on the improvement of moral behavior habits of third grade elementary school students.Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn from this study.(1)The alpha coefficient of the Moral Behavior Questionnaire for Elementary School Students was 0.947,and the alpha coefficients of each sub-scale ranged from 0.861 to 0.935,and its structural validity and validity scale correlation validity(significant correlation coefficient of 0.673 with the moral conduct assessment of students in the same period)reached a psychology acceptable level. The four dimensions were "compliance with rules and regulations","solidarity and cooperation","charity and benefit",and "civilization and honesty".(2)Among the 855 primary school students selected, the average level of overall moral behavior habits was 2.99,with an overall excellent rate of 19.8% and an adverse rate of18.4%,respectively.The average level of the four dimensions ranges from 2.91 to 3.02,with excellent rates ranging from 17.0% to 21.8% and defect rates ranging from 14.3% to 22.5%.(3)The female students tested showed significantly higher levels of giving benefits and benefits(t=-6.866,p<0.001)and overall moral behavior habits(t=-2.616,p<0.01)compared to male students; The average score of ordinary children on the overall level of moral behavior habits(t=-3.348,p<0.01)is significantly higher than that of left behind children; The overall moral behavior habits of children in the democratic and authoritative parenting style groups(F=13.217,p<0.001)were significantly higher than those in the authoritarian and neglected parenting style groups; From the perspective of differences in life satisfaction, the moral behavior habits of students in the very satisfied and basically satisfied groups(F=14.653,p<0.001)were significantly higher than those in the dissatisfied group.(4)Group counseling can effectively improve the moral behavior habits of third grade pupils. The repeated measurement ANOVA results show that the Main effect of the moral behavior habits of the students before and after the test(F=11.669,p<0.01,η2=0.294)has statistical differences, and there is an interaction effect between grouping and experimental measurements(F=17.578,p<0.001,η2=0.386).Before the intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the level of moral behavior habits between the experimental group and the control group(p>0.05).After group counseling, there was a statistically significant difference in the level of moral behavior habits between the two groups(F=15.225,p<0.01,η2=0.352),the level of moral behavior habits in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group.
