Objective: To investigate the current situation of resilience and learning burnout of junior high school students at home during the normalization of epidemic prevention and control through questionnaire survey,and to provide group psychological counseling for students with low mental toughness and high learning burnout,and to explore the effect of group psychological counseling on improving resilience and reducing learning burnout of junior high school students.Methods: Study 1: The questionnaire method was used to distribute the "Adolescent Resilience Scale" and "Adolescent Learning Burnout Scale" to students in the seventh and eighth grades of a middle school in Wuhan to understand the current situation of psychological resilience and learning burnout of junior high school students.Based on the survey results of Study 1,20 students from the eighth grade students with 27% lower mental toughness and 27% higher learning burnout were randomly divided into 10 in the experimental group and 10 in the control group,and 10 students in the experimental group received 8 sessions of "The Power of Resilience" group counseling with the theme of psychological toughness,while 10 students in the control group did not receive counseling.After the end of the group assistance,the students in the experimental group and the control group were post-tested and followed up one month later.Results: 1.There was a significant negative correlation between resilience and learning burnout among junior high school students,and compared with the norm,the level of mental resilience and lower level of learning burnout were higher in this school.2.After group intervention,the resilience level of the students in the experimental group was significantly improved,and the level of learning burnout was significantly reduced;3.The follow-up test results of the students in the experimental group showed that the effect of group psychological counseling was sustainable.Conclusion: Group psychological counseling with the theme of resilience can significantly improve the resilience of junior high school students,thereby reducing their learning burnout. |
