In recent years, with the popularity of the network, the network infrastructure has been increasingly improved, and China has entered a new Digital Age.The intelligent and information-based transformation is in full swing, and the information technology is accelerated and updated, which has greatly facilitated our lives. Therefore, the State Council has issued a series of documents to promote the integration of the elderly into the Digital Age,with the focus on improving information literacy and improving the ability of the elderly to adapt to social development. As a direct medium for using smart technology, smart phones are the basic equipment for reaching the Internet,so whether smart phones can be used well is directly related to whether they can better integrate into the current digital life and enjoy the convenience brought by the development of the times. In the process of learning to use smart phones and using smart phones for learning, there are many difficulties and obstacles, which makes the elderly group in a dilemma in the flood of social progress,It is difficult to move forward.Based on the characteristics of the elderly and their learning characteristics, this paper discusses the barriers to the use of smart phones by the elderly.Taking the elderly group over 50 years old in Kunming as an example, through the questionnaire and interview methods, the author set questions from the five dimensions of physical barriers, psychological barriers, cognitive level barriers, situational barriers, and information barriers, trying to find out the main obstacles that affect the use of smart phones by the elderly, the role of various barriers, and whether different barriers are affected by gender, age, education level Income.According to the analysis of the data, some elderly people in the survey group do not have smart phones. It is a common phenomenon for the elderly with smart phones to use less frequently and use less applications.Among the five barriers, information barriers have a greater impact on the use of smart phones by the elderly, followed by physiological barriers and cognitive level barriers, and situational barriers have the smallest impact. The older the elderly, the lower the education level and the lower the income, the greater the obstacles.According to the interview survey, most of the elderly people do not know or know about the elderly function service, and some of the elderly people who have used it are also dissatisfied.Through sorting out the results of the survey data, three problems are summarized.(1)In terms of learners: the decline of vision, hearing and limbs brings inconvenience to the use of smart phones;Lack of confidence in learning to use smart phones;Lack of digital literacy and skills.(2)Learning resources: network information is mixed; The software interface is complicated and the functions are complicated.(3)In terms of environmental support: difficulties in intergenerational technology feedback;Insufficient social support and security. In order to solve the digital dilemma of the elderly,it is necessary to enhance their independent learning ability and digital literacy;Change cognition and fit in with the real situation;Improve skills in using smart phones;Help the elderly better adapt to the "aging" of the Internet; To establish a learning community for the elderly and build a learning community for the elderly;Build education mechanism to help the old people update their knowledge;Optimize network resources and improve the network confidence of the elderly.
