College students are the hope and main force of the future development of the country and the nation,and their degree of national identity can directly reflect whether they are willing to dedicate their youthful power to the development and growth of the country,which also has a bearing on whether the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation can be successfully realized.Since the 18 th National Congress,along with the remarkable improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength and international status,the national pride and self-confidence of the nation have been soaring as never before,and the national identity of college students has become stronger and stronger.However,as the process of globalization accelerates,the contradiction between "globalization" and "national identity" has become more and more prominent: the conflict between the identity of global citizens and Chinese citizens,the contradiction between global governance and national interests,the conflict between multiculturalism and domestic mainstream culture,and other issues such as the clash of cultural values are becoming more and more obvious.The conflict between global citizenship and Chinese citizenship,the conflict between global governance and national interests,and the conflict between multiculturalism and mainstream culture are constantly shaking the national identity of college students.In addition to these global issues,China today is facing more difficult individualized problems such as the entrenchment of separatist forces and the incompleteness of sovereignty and territory.Faced with many international and domestic problems of the times and realities,we urgently need to reconstruct the national identity education of college students in the new era.National identity education for college students in the new era is a major proposition with both theoretical and practical significance.As a theoretical proposition,the national identity education of college students in the new era needs to define the basic concepts of identity,national identity and national identity education of college students,and explore the four levels of "knowledge,emotion,intention and action" of identity and its practical significance;from its generation logic,the national identity education of college students in the new era must start from the "state-individual" relationship.From its generative logic,national identity education for college students in the new era must start from the "state-individual" relationship,with theories inherited from traditional Chinese national identity thought,rooted in modern Chinese national identity thought,based on Marxist national identity thought,and developed from Western national identity thought.In order to meet the challenges of globalization,informationization and post-modern thought,the reality strongly calls for the development of national identity education for college students in the new era.The national identity education of college students in the new era is a practical proposition of great practical significance.Based on the national identity education of college students in the new era,we can see that college students have different degrees of practical difficulties in cognition,emotion,value and practice according to their identity levels.Based on the growth characteristics of college students and the development law of national identity education,we must build a set of overall linked education system from the four levels of knowledge,emotion,intention and action,deepen theoretical cognition by improving education contents,enhance emotional experience by enriching education carriers,strengthen value leadership by constructing a common spiritual and cultural home,and create a practice environment by optimizing education environment.In order to promote the new development of national identity education for college students in the new era,we have been working hard to improve the educational contents to deepen theoretical knowledge,enrich the educational carriers to enhance emotional experience,build a common spiritual and cultural home to strengthen value guidance,and optimize the educational environment to create a practice atmosphere.
