As the first resource,human resource plays a fundamental,strategic and decisive role in all social resources.It not only determines the development level and utilization of other resources,but also has unlimited possibilities for development.Talents also act as an extremely important role in the high quality and connotative development of private colleges and universities and it is the key to implement the strategy of "strengthening the school by talents" and an important guarantee to stand out in the competition.However,the lack of talents and the disorderly flow of talents have been the key factors that restrict the development of private colleges to high quality and connotative.Therefore,to explore the talents in "attracting,retaining and developing well" in private colleges and universities,it is necessary to do the research in the factors of talent flow in private colleges and universities.In this background,this study takes GC College as the research object which based on the two-factor theory and conducted focus interviews in three batches of total 33 staff members from the competent departments,talent management personnel and ordinary staff of GC College.It is found that under the two-factor theory,the main factors influenced the flow of talents in private universities as such factors: large salary gap,low welfare level,inadequate academic environment construction,low sense of identity,career hindrance,limited personal development,low professional sense of security.Finally,according to the research results,it is proposed to further improve the salary and welfare mechanism,optimize the working environment and build a talent exchange platform in terms of health factors.In terms of incentive factors,it is necessary to improve the communication mechanism,build a platform for talent exchange,implement career planning according to teachers’ characteristics,take teachers as the foundation,pay attention to teachers’ spiritual motivation,and improve the talent evaluation and assessment mechanism,so as to provide some reference for the talent work of private universities and future researchers.
