The Influence Of Institutional Distance On The Export Of Chinese Higher Education Service Trade

With the development of globalization,the trade in higher education services develops rapidly and brings huge economic benefits to every countries,especially the developed countries.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,Chinese service trade of higher education has developed rapidly.Nowadays China has become the largest source country of students in the world and the largest destination country of students in Asia.The share of international education market is increasing year by year,and the proportion of education service in service trade is also gradually increasing.However,compared with the developed countries in education,our higher education service trade deficit is serious,unbalanced structure and unitary discipline category.In recent years,the system plays an increasingly prominent role in bilateral service trade and gradually becomes one of the important factors for national policy formulation and implementation.Therefore,it is of great significance to construct the open system of high-quality education by exploring the export path of higher education service with Chinese characteristics from the perspective of institutional factors.Based on the relevant theories of service trade and institutional economics,this paper divides system into three dimensions of politics,economy and law by combining previous research experience.Taking the relationship between system distance and the export of higher education service as the main clue,and using the methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis,it will explore the influence of system distance on the export of higher education service trade of our country.Through the research,this paper concludes that system distance has a significant influence on the exportation of higher education services of our country,among which economic system distance has an inhibitory effect on the exportation of higher education services of our country,and political and legal system distance can promote the exportation of higher education services of our country to some extent.On the basis of the conclusion,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions combining the development status of higher education service trade: firstly,optimize the policy environment,promote the standardization of education cooperation;secondly,strengthen economic support and improve the export system of higher education services;thirdly,increase strategic deployment and build the brand of Chinese higher education service.
