Under the reform of the new curriculum standard,appreciation class has become an important part of high school music.With the promotion of China’s education reform,the music discipline focuses on cultivating students’ aesthetic perception,artistic expression,and cultural understanding of the three core qualities.The teaching materials of Music Appreciation are widely used and are used in many schools in our city so far.This article uses the familiar film and television music to resonate with students,stimulate their initiative in music learning,and drive all students to better integrate into the classroom.In teaching,we focus on guiding students’ aesthetics and interests,integrating Chinese local culture and world national culture,attaching importance of teaching methods,and using multimedia technology to integrate with teaching,so as to improve students’ interest in class and rational understanding of music.Based on the concept of "Music Curriculum Standards for General High Schools",the classroom practice teaching of music and film and television is written from the following three parts.First,analysis of the textbooks under the new music curriculum standards for general high schools,analysis of the fifth unit.Second,analysis of the teaching of "Music and Film",sorting out the teaching objectives and difficulties from the analysis of the music works of the textbook and the analysis of the selected music works.The third point are teaching practice process of "Music and Film".with attitude of learning,the author puts forward the problems existing in music teaching,and solves them with his own teaching practice,hoping to get criticism and guidance from experts and peers.
