Western classical music(hereinafter referred to as classical music)has profound historical connotation and artistic value beyond the times.It is not only an important part of western culture,but also a bright pearl in the world human art history.Many music educators and scholars in China have devoted themselves to the popularization and promotion of classical music for many years.Classical music occupies a place in music textbooks from primary school to high school.However,due to the limitations of various factors,classical music teaching has not received the attention of teachers and students.In senior high school,the pressure of schoolwork is heavy.In the environment of exam oriented education,music textbooks are in the position of minor subjects,and the teaching contents in music textbooks are difficult to complete with quality and quantity.Appreciation of classical music,which is more difficult,has become a major difficulty in music teaching in senior high school.This paper analyzes the practical difficulties faced by classical music in music appreciation teaching in senior high school,and explores a series of classical music teaching methods.It is hoped that it can improve students' interest in classical music,enhance students' aesthetic interest,and promote students' physical and mental health development.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background,research significance,research review and research methods.The second part is an overview of classical music,including the connotation of classical music and the development process of classical music.The third part expounds the importance of classical music in high school music appreciation teaching,and discusses its importance from two aspects: the position of classical music in high school music appreciation class and the practical significance of classical music to high school students.The fourth part is about the analysis of the current situation of classical music appreciation teaching.Through the questionnaire survey,the author found that students generally lack interest in classical music.There are three main reasons for the lack of interest: first,music textbooks are not paid attention to;second,the arrangement of music textbooks in primary and junior middle schools;third,students have too few opportunities to contact classical music.In addition to the lack of interest in classical music,classical music itself also has certain difficulties in appreciation,such as long works and short classroom time;Music elements are complex and students' foundation is weak;The works have profound cultural connotation,and the students are unfamiliar with the Western cultural background.The fifth part is the key content of this paper,which explores the teaching methods of classical music appreciation on the basis of the fourth part.This paper mainly discusses how to improve students' interest in classical music,how to improve students' participation in the classroom,and how to reduce the difficulty of students' learning,and takes the topics in textbooks as examples.The author believes that in order to improve students' interest in classical music,we should first stimulate students' subjective initiative,let students not only passively listen to the knowledge instilled by the teacher in the classroom,but really participate in the classroom and encourage students to perform and create.Secondly,classical music is unfamiliar to students,so you can use the music familiar to students as an introduction.Thirdly,it analyzes how to improve students' interest through "Music Visualization" and help students learn classical music more intuitively.Then,it also mentioned the methods of cultivating students' interest in classical music after class.In addition,taking the teaching clip of Mozart Figaro's wedding as an example,this paper analyzes how the teaching methods used in this course improve students' interest in the works,deeply understand the connotation of the works,and actively participate in the classroom.Finally,through students' feedback,summarize the achievements of the above teaching methods and reflect on their shortcomings.
