Research On The Path Of Social Work Intervention To Improve The Willingness Of The Elderly In Urban Communities To Participate In Public Affair

From the analysis of China’s population distribution,it can be seen that the proportion of the elderly population is increasing,and how to deal with active aging has increasingly become a hot spot of concern of the international community.The degree of social participation of elderly residents is an important factor affecting their quality of life in old age.In the community where you live,choosing to participate in public affairs is the fastest and most convenient way to participate in society,and it is also the most conducive way to contribute to one’s own strength and realize self-worth,and it is also an important way to cope with the country’s active aging initiatives.This paper mainly focuses on the elderly group of residents in S city communities,and studies the problem that they have low willingness to participate in public affairs in the community.Taking the S community of G City as the survey point,the questionnaire method,the participatory observation method and the in-depth interview method were used to collect data and analyze the data.Taking the "Community Elders" project of G City S community as an example,this paper takes the "advantageous perspective" as the guide,takes the concept of "empowerment" as the core,and intervenes through professional social work methods to enhance the participation of the elderly in community in community public affairs.Using the questionnaire method,the elderly in the experimental group and control group were tested before and after,so as to grasp the participation of the elderly in community public affairs and their needs.Using T test,the previous measured values and pre-measured values of the experimental group and the control group were independently sampled and paired sampling were used to test the T test to show the effectiveness of group work intervention.Aiming at the problem of willingness to participate in community public affairs in the S community,two methods of group work and casework were used to explore a way to improve the willingness of the elderly in the community to participate in community public affairs.From the perspective of social work,this paper understands the low willingness of the elderly to participate in community public affairs,and on this basis,the professional methods of social work are used to intervene to improve the participation of the elderly in community public affairs.Through the active participation of the elderly in the S urban community,it provides useful references for the research and development of social work.Actively promote the embedding of social work in the community,promote the problem that the elderly in the community are not willing to participate in community public affairs,and strive to apply the scientific and humanistic nature of the social work profession to practice.
