Objective: Under the background of relationship demand block,it explores whether volleyball players have more attention to emotional faces, which provides a reference for psychological training and material selection of volleyball players.Research method: The experimental research method is 2(group: high self-esteem block group, low self-esteem block group)3(emotional face type: happy, angry, neutral face)2(detection point: position ipsilateral, position heterolateral).Groups were intergroup independent variables, and emotional pictures and probe point locations were within-group independent variables. The attention bias was the dependent variable, and the reaction time for judging the probe site location was the dependent variable indicator. The study group included 34 volleyball players from Guangzhou University of Physical Education(average age 21.73 ± 1.95,average training years 5.39 ± 3.10),including 1 national general athlete,5 first-class athletes,6 second-class athletes and 22 third-class athletes.According to the score of self-esteem scale, the subjects were divided into two groups: high and low self-esteem.The volleyball practice was used to set the situation of relationship demand block, the pictures of different emotional expressions were used as experimental stimulation materials, and the attention bias of the athletes was analyzed in response.Attention bias is mainly divided into:(1)pay attention to vigilance, stimulating information is easier to be identified by the subjects;(2)pay attention to avoid, refers to the individual attention to some opposite stimuli, when the neutral and dangerous stimuli, will be more inclined to avoid dangerous stimuli;(3)pay attention from the difficulty, when the individual is attracted by some specific stimuli, attention will be difficult to transfer from the stimulus to other stimuli.Research results:(1)Consistency effect analysis: the main effect of the two athlete groups was significant(p <0.01),but the consistency main effect was not significant(p> 0.05).It means that participants have significant differences in grouping, but it does not promote or inhibit the emotional consistency effect.(2)Response bias score: group main effect was significant(p <0.01),high self-esteem block group bias scores greater than zero on happy faces and significant difference(p<0.01);bias scores less than zero on angry faces(p <0.05).The low self-esteem block group had less than zero for both happy and angry faces, and there was no significant difference(p> 0.05).It indicates that high self-esteem volleyball players are alert to happy faces after the relationship demand block. However, there was no significant difference in low self-esteem volleyball players, and no attentional bias was generated.(3)Attention detachment index: the main effect of group was significant(p<0.01),the main effect of face type group was significant(p <0.05),and in the high self-esteem block group, the attention detachment index was greater than zero and the attention detachment index was significantly different from zero(p <0.05).There was no significant difference between the attention detachment index and zero(p> 0.05);no significant difference between the low self-esteem block group(p> 0.05).The attention detachment index on angry faces was greater than zero and was significantly different from zero(p <0.01).It indicates that high self-esteem volleyball players have difficulty in paying attention to happy faces after the relationship demand block, and focus their attention on happy faces.Low self-esteem volleyball players have difficulty paying attention to angry faces and focusing on angry faces.Research conclusion:(1)In the context of relationship demand block, high self-esteem volleyball players have an attention bias towards positive emotional faces, mainly manifested as attention to escape from difficulties and attention to vigilance,(2)In the context of relationship demand block, volleyball players with high self-esteem have an attention bias to negative emotional faces, which is mainly manifested as attention avoidance.(3)In the context of relationship demand block, volleyball players with low self-esteem do not have any attention bias to positive emotional faces.(4)In the context of relationship demand block, volleyball players with low self-esteem have an attention bias to negative emotional faces, which is mainly manifested as the difficulty of attention detachment. |
