| In the Curriculum Standards of Physical Education and Health for Compulsory Education issued in 2022,it is clearly stated that the overall goal of the level-1curriculum is to master and use basic motor skills and physical fitness to improve athletic ability. At present, the domestic research on the development of children’s basic motor skills is in its infancy. Some studies have shown that the development of children’s basic motor skills in some areas of China lags behind, and the decline of children’s physical fitness is not optimistic. In order to better promote the development of children’s basic motor skills and physical quality, this study designs physical fitness training content under the theory of goal setting, explores sports activities that are helpful to improve children’s basic motor skills and physical quality, and provides effective training means and theoretical guidance for the development of children’s basic motor skills and physical quality. This study adopts the method of documentary, expert interview and questionnaire survey to design based on the theory of goal setting, fitness training, the experiment method is adopted to exercise intervention of experimental classes in grade one and that in comparative classes, classes in which 38 people, that in comparative classes 38 people, for 12 weeks of the experiment, two classes a week,40 minutes each time. The students in the experimental class do physical fitness training under the theory of goal setting in the physical education class, and the students in the control class do physical exercise according to the school’s physical education curriculum. The Large Muscle Group Development Test(TGMD-2)with high reliability and validity and the test items in the first grade of primary school students in the National Students’ Physical Health Standards were used to test the students, and relevant data were collected and sorted for comparative analysis.Results:(1)The development of basic motor skills: the running scores of the experimental group had significant differences(P<0.05),and the scores of other items had very significant differences(P<0.01);In the control group, there were significant differences in 5 items such as two-handed catching and one-foot jumping(P<0.05).(2)In terms of physical quality development, the experimental group students had significant differences in each score(P<0.01);The results of the control group were also significantly different(P<0.01).(3)Gender: there were significant differences in the scores of basic motor skills between men and women(P<0.05),but no significant differences in the scores of physical fitness between men and women(P>0.05).(4)The correlation between basic motor skills and physical fitness: basic motor skills were significantly correlated with vital capacity,50-meter running and seated forward bending(P<0.01);There was no significant correlation between basic motor skills and1-minute skipping(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)The application of goal setting theory to physical fitness training has a better promoting effect on the development of students’ basic motor skills and physical quality than school physical education courses.(2)It is more helpful to improve children’s basic motor skills and physical quality to integrate exercises, ball games, skipping and other sports into the physical activities of children aged 6-7,and adopt the goal setting theory to determine the frequency, difficulty and long-term and short-term goals of actions.(3)There is a significant gender difference in the development of basic motor skills of 6-7 year old children.Girls are better than boys on the whole, but there is no significant gender difference in the development of physical fitness.(4)The basic motor skills of 6-7 year old children were moderately correlated with the vital capacity of physical fitness,50-meter running and seated forward bending. |
