Does mobile phone addiction lead to academic burnout? Does irrational procrastination play a mediating role in mobile phone addiction and academic burnout? These questions are worth exploring in depth. Therefore, this study aims to explore the correlation between mobile phone addiction, academic burnout and irrational procrastination of graduate students in sports schools, enrich the relevant research among the three, expand the research field of academic burnout, and provide reference for relieving mobile phone addiction and academic burnout of graduate students in sports schools.Based on the theory of attention overload, the theory of time motivation, and relevant researches at home and abroad, this study uses literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and other research methods to select graduate students from many sports colleges and departments across the country as survey objects to issue questionnaires. The mobile phone Addiction Scale,Academic Burnout Scale and Irrational Procrastination Scale are used as measuring tools. The obtained data were processed by SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 24.0.The study says:(1)There are significant differences in gender and full-time work experience of mobile phone addiction among graduate students in sports colleges.Specifically, female students are more addicted to mobile phone than male students, and the degree of mobile phone addiction among graduate students without work experience is significantly higher than that of graduate students with work experience.(2)There are significant differences in the academic burnout of postgraduates in sports schools in terms of gender,full-time work experience, training type of postgraduates and whether they are only children.Specifically, the level of academic burnout of female students is significantly higher than that of male students, and the level of academic burnout of postgraduates without work experience is significantly higher than that of postgraduates with work experience. The degree of academic burnout of academic postgraduate students is significantly higher than that of professional postgraduate students, and the level of academic burnout of non-singleton students is significantly higher than that of singleton students.(3)There are significant differences in the irrational procrastination of postgraduates in sports schools in terms of gender,full-time work experience and whether they are the only child.Specifically, the irrational procrastination degree of female students is significantly higher than that of male students, the irrational procrastination degree of graduate students without full-time work experience is significantly higher than that of graduate students with full-time work experience, and the irrational procrastination degree of only children is significantly higher than that of non-only children.(4)Mobile phone addiction can significantly positively predict academic burnout and irrational procrastination of graduate students in physical education colleges, and irrational procrastination can significantly positively predict academic burnout.(5)Irrational procrastination plays a partial mediating role between mobile phone addiction and academic burnout.Mobile phone addiction can not only directly affect the level of academic burnout of graduate students in physical education departments, but also indirectly affect academic burnout through the intermediary of irrational procrastination. |
