Basketball traditional program schools are schools jointly built and managed by sports and education departments,where students take basketball as a form of traditional sports activity.It shouldered the dual task of cultivating Chinese basketball reserve talents and popularizing basketball.The charm of basketball is mainly shown through competition.Basketball traditional program schools generally have better basketball atmosphere and facilities than ordinary schools.The development of campus basketball competition is an important requirement for school construction.Since April 2021,the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on Further Strengthening the physical health management of primary and middle school students,emphasizing that primary and middle school schools should focus on "teaching,practicing,and regular competition",build a perfect primary and secondary school sports competition system,Thus,sports competitions have been attached great importance to by schools at all levels.At present,school sports competitions at all levels should comply with the requirements of the development of the times and do enough work in the "regular competition".Primary school basketball traditional schools have a first-mover advantage in competition.The key of this study is how its actual development situation is,whether it can promote the overall development of campus basketball competition and provide reference for the development of competition in ordinary schools.In this paper,literature analysis,expert interview,questionnaire,field investigation,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis and other research methods are used to investigate and analyze the competition situation of traditional primary school basketball program schools in Guangzhou,refine their good methods and experience,explore their difficulties in the development of the competition and put forward the optimization path.Make its competition activities more systematic,standardized,reasonable,efficient,for the better development of campus basketball competition to provide inspiration and theory reference.The study reached the following conclusions:1.The leaders and physical education teachers of primary school basketball traditional schools in Guangzhou have highly realized the importance of competition.The court equipment can meet the needs of competition.All schools have basketball teams and carry out various basketball-related activities,which basically meet the requirements of the competent authorities for competition.However,there are some problems in most of them,such as difficult organization,not wide coverage,short time cycle and few races,and mechanical completion of the race without quality.2.Physical education teachers lack the ability to organize competitions and adjudication is relatively inadequate,and the number of basketball teachers in individual schools is small,which is difficult to support the further development of intra-school basketball competitions.3.Guangzhou primary school basketball traditional school competition management mechanism and competition guarantee mechanism is not perfect,the overall lack of overall arrangement.The basic rights and interests protection and competition evaluation mechanism of campus basketball competition participants are largely missing,and the reward mechanism of interschool basketball competition is misaligned with students’ realistic needs.4.The competition is underfunded and comes from a single source.Schools do not give full play to their subjective initiative and expand funding channels.They tend to wait,rely on and want.5.The popularity of the school basketball competition is not enough,inter-school basketball competition failed to build an integrated competition system.The intercollegiate competition and intramural competition are not well connected in five aspects,such as competition time,participants,competition forms,competition group setting and competition publicity.In view of the realistic predicament of Guangzhou primary school basketball traditional school competition,this paper draws on the experience of American AAU basketball League and proposes the following optimization paths: 1.Equipped with adequate physical education teachers,pay attention to teachers comprehensive ability training.2.Establish a league of traditional sports schools.3.Improve the competition guarantee system.4.Increase government support and expand funding sources.5.Targeted optimization of competition and construction of an integrated basketball competition system. |
