| In recent years,influenced by factors such as the open interest rate market,fierce competition among peers,and strong regulation,Chinese commercial banks have experienced a slowdown in performance growth,obstacles to traditional business development,narrowing profit margins,and increasing operational risks.They are generally facing the problem of how to expand their business and find new profit growth points.At the same time,in order to actively respond to the phenomenon of aging population in China,the government continues to improve the "three pillars" pension security system.With the increasing burden of fiscal pension expenditure,the focus of China’s pension security system construction will inevitably shift from the first pillar to the second and third pillars,which also brings new business opportunities to commercial banks.Based on the above situation,this paper analyzes the current situation of GS Bank’s aging related businesses,including pension finance,pension industry finance,and pension service finance.Through surveys and interviews,it is found that the current business problems include a relatively low proportion of middle-aged and young customers,a lack of flexibility in wealth management products,difficulty in meeting the credit needs of elderly customers,and bottlenecks in the development of enterprise pension business Difficulty in financing private elderly care industry customers.Subsequently,by analyzing the macro environment and industry environment faced by GS Bank under the trend of aging,a SWOT matrix was constructed,and it was believed that the external opportunities faced by GS Bank outweighed the threats.On the one hand,actively responding to aging has become a national strategy,and the government has also successively introduced a series of policies and measures to improve the pension security system,indicating the direction for GS Bank’s business expansion;On the other hand,the diverse elderly care security needs of the people and their pursuit of a better life in their later years have provided a breakthrough for GS Bank’s business expansion.The inherent scale effect and brand advantage of GS Bank are unquestionable,therefore a growth action strategy of "fully leveraging internal advantages and actively seizing external opportunities" is proposed.Finally,this paper proposes the business expansion goals of GS Bank in the fields of personal pension finance,corporate(occupational)pension,and pension industry credit under the background of aging.Using STP theory to locate target customers and markets,it proposes four specific business expansion strategies: implementing differentiated product design,improving hierarchical marketing mechanism,optimizing service channel construction,and strengthening brand promotion,as well as improving organizational structure and popularizing pension concepts Strengthening team building and implementing the four guarantee measures of technology empowerment have certain practical significance for GS Bank to expand its business and enhance its brand image,thereby continuously improving its operational efficiency. |
