| The 16 th Hubei Provincial Games to be held in Yichang in 2022 will be an important sporting event at the historical crossroads of the "Two Hundred Years" goal.It is the goal of every athlete to win a gold medal at the provincial games,and Yichang has achieved excellent results in previous badminton competitions,but the results have fluctuated considerably.So there is a need to identify the problems in the development of the sport in order for Yichang to create good results in badminton and provide an important theoretical basis.In Yichang,there have been double champions Zhao Yunlei in women’s doubles and mixed doubles at the London Olympics;Du Yue,who was selected to the list of athletes for the badminton event in the Chinese delegation to the Tokyo Olympics,is a representative figure in the badminton event of Yichang origin,and many young people in Yichang have actively followed their lead in badminton,with an increasingly strong mass base that has attracted a wide participation of young people.At the same time,the Hubei Provincial Games and the Yichang City Games,which are held every four years,are gaining more and more attention locally.These two competitions are an important way for Yichang to select and send talents to Hubei Province and even the country,and the results obtained are used as an important indicator for reference,thus making the competition very fierce.This paper uses literature,mathematical statistics,expert interviews,comparative analysis and logical analysis to analyse the 13th-16 th Hubei Provincial Games and the 1st-6th Yichang Games.The study found that in the 13th-16 th Provincial Games junior badminton competitions,Jingzhou City,Wuhan City and Yichang City have long occupied the top three positions,especially the Jingzhou area,both in terms of total gold medals and medals The total number of gold medals and the total number of medals all occupy the first position.In the 1st-6th Municipal Games junior badminton competitions,the areas with high levels of competition were Xiling District,Wujiagang District and Zhijiang City,which led the development of the junior badminton programme in Yichang.The areas with a high level of competition were Yiling District,Danyang City and Zigui County,whose results were inconsistent and erratic.The average areas are Wufeng County,Yiting District and Yidu City,which are lagging behind but showing signs of a breakthrough.The areas with a low level of competition are Changyang County,Xingshan County and Yuan’an County,which are the three areas that are lagging behind in terms of the development of the junior badminton programme.The results of the tournament truly reflect the level of development of the junior badminton programme,and this was used as a premise to find the strengths and weaknesses that affect the results,as well as the main problems that exist and are currently faced by the Yichang junior badminton team.The current state of development is that the development of each individual sport has to make up for shortcomings,the development of the county and urban areas is not balanced enough,the competition promotes the development of reserve talent and the coaching staff needs to grow;the development trend is that the training industry drives the development of the project,the project goes through the process from popularisation to improvement,the demand for goods such as badminton venues increases,the event will attract more corporate sponsorship and large competitions will stimulate the development of talent motivation.By establishing the factors influencing the development of the sport,the problems in the development of the sport are analysed in five aspects: political system,economic level,program setting,selection base and talent development,and corresponding development strategies are given: sustainable development,scientific training methods,grasping the advantages of the sport,adjusting the physical and mental state,implementing the service guarantee and paying attention to the sports market.The paper concludes that the number of participants is increasing,the results are rising and the development of individual sports is uncoordinated.The paper also gives suggestions to keep the enthusiasm of the participants stable and seek progress in the middle,develop the synergy to make rapid progress and develop potential projects to make breakthroughs. |
