Objective: In order to verify the specific intervention effect on different exercise modes on the healthy physical fitness of secondary vocational students, the writer has designed two sets of 12-week training intervention programs based on the concepts and training characteristics of functional training and traditional physical training. Moreover, the writer has explored the effects and differences of the two training modes on the healthy physical fitness of secondary vocational students, such as the cardiorespiratory endurance, the muscle flexibility, strength and its endurance. The thesis is mainly aimed to enrich the content and types of physical educational courses for secondary vocational students. It could effectively improve the health and physical fitness of secondary vocational students, and promote the scientific and accurate nature of physical education teaching in secondary vocational schools if the abovementioned conditions can be put into practice in a quick pace. Methods:In this thesis,60 secondary vocational students of the class of 2021 were selected as experimental subjects in Jiangxi Provincial Electronic Information Engineering School by literature method, mathematical statistical method, logical analysis method, experimental method and other research methods, and divided them into experimental group and control group:30 students in each group,15 boys and girls in each group; Before the experiment, the two groups of students were tested for healthy fitness and functional motor screening(FMS)and statistically analyzed the obtained data to ensure that there was no significant difference in the indicators of the two groups of students and achieve effective grouping. Two groups of students were given 12 weeks of training intervention,in which the experimental group students implemented the functional training intervention program and the control group implemented the traditional physical training intervention program. After the experiment, the above indicators were retested, and the effects and differences of functional training and traditional physical training on the health and fitness indicators of secondary vocational students were analyzed and studied by combining the indicators of the two groups of students before and after the experiment and the training intervention programs of the two groups.Results:(1)Before the experimental intervention, there was no significant difference in the indicators of healthy physical fitness(p>0.05),and there was no significant difference in the total score and indicators of functional motor screening(p>0.05).(2)After 12 weeks of experimental intervention, the two groups did not show significant differences in the squat and trunk stable push-up tests in the functional motor screening(FMS)test such as muscle strength and muscular endurance and other healthy physical fitness indicators and functional motor screening(FMS)test(p>0.05);Among the healthy fitness indicators such as 1000 meters,800 meters and lung capacity, the scores of the control group were better than those of the experimental group(p<0.05);the seated forward flexion test, the scores of the experimental group were better than those in the control group(p<0.05);In the remaining five functional motor screening(FMS)tests except squats and trunk stable push-ups,the experimental group scored better than the control group with a very significant difference(p<0.01).(3)After 12 weeks of experimental intervention, there were significant differences in healthy physical fitness indicators such as 1000 m and 800m(p<0.05)in the experimental group compared with pre-experimental indicators; There were significant differences in the total test scores of healthy physical fitness indicators such as grip strength, standing long jump,1-minute push-ups,1-minute sit-ups,sitting forward flexion, lung capacity and functional motor screening(FMS)and individual test scores of boys and girls compared with before the experiment(p<0.01).Although the difference in the control group was not obvious compared with the preexperimental(p>0.05)in the seated forward flexion test, there were very significant differences between the two tests of grip strength, standing long jump,1-minute push-ups,1-minute situps,1000 meters,800 meters, lung capacity and functional motor screening(FMS)and squats and trunk stable push-ups in the functional motor screening(FMS)test(p<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Functional training and traditional physical training can improve the health and physical fitness of secondary vocational students to a certain extent, and improve the functional motor screening(FMS)test score of secondary vocational students.(2)Compared with traditional physical training, functional training has more significant effects in improving flexibility and optimizing basic movement patterns;Compared with functional training, traditional physical training has a more significant effect in improving the performance of middle and long distance running and improving the lung capacity of secondary vocational students.(3)This study verifies and analyzes the intervention effect and difference between functional training and traditional physical training on the health and fitness of secondary vocational students, which provides a certain reference basis for scientifically improving the health and fitness of secondary vocational students. However, due to the shortcomings of this study, such as short experimental time, small sample content, and the lack of more accurate experimental equipment,it is necessary for scholars to explore and supplement the correlation and mechanism of functional training, healthy physical fitness and physiological and biochemical indicators of secondary vocational students.
