Based on the background of deepening the reform of education evaluation in the new era,deepening the reform of the enrollment and examination system,or promoting the reform of the education methods of ordinary high schools in the new era.The State Council issued the "Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Enrollment and Examination System" and marked the formal opening of the new round of reform of the college entrance examination system in China,in September 2014..On the basis of fully drawing on the experience of the first three batches of pilot provinces and cities in the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination.On September 15,2020,as the fourth batch of new college entrance examination reform areas,Jilin Province issued the "Implementation Plan for Deepening the Comprehensive Reform of Examination and Enrollment in General Colleges and Universities in Jilin Province",which stipulates the making use of the "3+ 1+2" college entrance examination model.This is a great attempt to deepen the comprehensive reform of examination and enrollment in general colleges and universities,involving multi-dimensional changes in exam subjects,score composition,admission methods,and other aspects.Its essence lies in emphasizing the concept of quality education Multiple Intelligence and Comprehensive Development Theory.Under the "3+ 1+2" college entrance examination model,biology is placed in the category of re selected subjects,which is inevitably affected by the college entrance examination reform.How to make biology teaching more suitable for the new round of college entrance examination reform is a problem that we must pay attention to.This study uses research methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,statistical analysis,and comparative analysis to explore the impact of the "3+ 1+2" college entrance examination model on biology teaching in senior high schools in Changchun City and its countermeasures.The questionnaire was distributed to selected 2021 and 2020 students from three different levels of middle schools in Changchun City,including some biology elective students,some high school biology teachers,and educational authorities or school teaching leaders.An exclusive interview was also conducted with some biology teachers in the second grade of senior high school in Changchun.At the same time,it provides reference suggestions for students to choose subjects under the "3+ 1+2" college entrance examination mode.Through statistical analysis of the questionnaire,the research results show that:The "3+ 1+2" college entrance examination model has been greatly welcomed by students,teachers,educational authorities,or school teaching leaders.There is still room for improvement in the effectiveness of biology classroom teaching and the quality of students’ learning after class,and students’ learning enthusiasm needs to be improved.Student hope that teachers make use of diverse teaching methods to achieve hierarchical teaching.Guidance on student career planning mainly comes from schools and parents,and most students say they do not understand the employment prospects of biology related majors.The workload of teachers has generally decreased.In order to meet the classroom requirements under the new college entrance examination model,teachers have made adjustments in the formulation of teaching objectives and the use of teaching methods,but the career planning and presentation are still not in place.All teachers stated that the main challenge they faced was that the differences among students in the same class were more pronounced,and 35.71% of teachers believed that science thinking teaching was difficult to implement in classes with history as the preferred subject,while evaluating the quality of school teaching became more difficult.Based on the enlightenment obtained from the survey results,the following strategies are proposed to better adapt biology teaching to the new round of college entrance examination reform: 74.26% of teachers cannot successfully carry out certain experiments due to insufficient school hardware facilities.For education management departments,in addition to timely publicizing education policies,they should also optimize the allocation of teaching resources,provide effective assistance,and provide opportunities for teachers to exchange and learn based on the characteristics of student selection under the "3+ 1+2" model;As far as school teaching leaders are concerned,they should attach importance to the importance of biological experimental teaching and high school career planning education for students’ subject selection,establish a systematic curriculum system for career planning education,and improve the teaching quality evaluation mechanism;60.85% of students hope that teachers will adopt diverse teaching methods to achieve hierarchical teaching.For biology teachers,they should implement the basic concept of hierarchical teaching from aspects such as classroom rhythm and tasks,flexibly apply scientific thinking,achieve diverse teaching methods,actively guide students in career planning,promote the construction of biology teaching and research groups,and carry out rich extracurricular activities.For students,they should enhance their own initiative in learning,identify with the advantages of interactive communication learning,focus on career planning in advance,and select disciplines suitable for their own development to improve the quality of learning.
