| Since the beginning of the new century,Chinese normal colleges and universities have made a series of innovations in teacher training.Pre-service teacher training is the primary task in teacher education and the guarantee of teacher quality.Curriculum as an important carrier of training talents in colleges and universities and the embodiment of educational thoughts curriculum system is related to the quality of talent training.General education curriculum is the carrier of general education in normal universities,which is of great significance for broadening teachers’ knowledge horizon,cultivating teachers’ cultural inclusiveness,stimulating teachers’ critical thinking and shaping teachers’ sound personality.As the rebirth of general education,the United States has experienced many general education curriculum reforms since its birth in the 19 th century,and has formed a unique general education curriculum system of pre-service teacher training.This paper used literature research,historical research,case analysis method and comparative research to study general education courses in pre-service teacher training of America,and summarized the characteristics of general education courses in the training of pre-service teachers of America,hoping to provide some enlightenment and reference for the development of pre-service teacher training and general education curriculum in our country.The main body of this thesis consists of five parts:The first part traces the historical development of general education curriculum in American pre-service teacher training.The generation of general education curriculum is closely related to the policy support of social progress and technological development.In the continuous evolution of pre-service teacher education in theUnited States,general education presents different characteristics in different training periods,and gradually develops towards "integrity","freedom,flexibility" and "integration".The second part discusses the policy adherence and theoretical basis of general education curriculum in American pre-service teacher training.As the "core standard" for new teacher teaching,IINTASC standard is widely used in the pre-service teacher training and teacher professional development in the states of the United States.The specific provisions of the research standard for teacher teaching can obtain the specific content of the general literacy of American teachers,and provide certain theoretical basis for this research.The third part analyzes the specific cases of general education courses in American colleges and universities.This paper selects universities with high ranking of education colleges in the U.S.News and World Report,excellent teacher training and characteristics of general education,and focuses on the analysis of the curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum structure,teaching model and evaluation method of general education in the colleges and universities,so as to clarify the curriculum system of general education in the U.S.pre-service teacher training.The fourth part summarizes the characteristics of general education curriculum in American pre-service teacher training.This paper mainly summarizes the main characteristics of general education curriculum in curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum structure,teaching implementation and curriculum evaluation in pre-service teacher training.The fifth part is the enlightenment of general education curriculum in American pre-service teacher training.Firstly,this paper summarizes the exploration results of the general education curriculum in normal colleges in recent years,and expounding the enlightenment of the curriculum setting of general education.The aim is to learn from each other on the basis of the national conditions,remove the rough and select the best,and examine the pre-service teacher training from an international perspective to improve the quality of teacher training. |
