In 2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued Opinions on Promoting the High-quality Development of Modern Vocational Education,which means that China’s vocational education has entered the stage of high-quality development.The teacher team is an important variable affecting the high-quality development of vocational education,and the construction of a teacher team should be implemented as the professional development of teachers.The two basic problems of teacher professional development are the goal and path of development.In the context of the policy of high-quality development of vocational education,the goal of professional development of teachers in secondary vocational schools can be expanded from three dimensions:(1)To become a “double-qualified teacher” in the capacity dimension;(2)The ethical dimension should be “caring teacher”;(3)In the dimension of power,they should become “independent teachers”.Each kind of teacher has its unique connotation,and the integration of three kinds of teachers can be called expert teachers or teaching elites.The professional development of secondary vocational teachers needs to explore effective ways to become “double-qualified teachers”.The main ways to become“double-qualified teachers” are: institutionalized enterprise technology practice,demand-oriented school-based teaching and research;The main ways to become “caring teachers” include: enhancing teachers’ professional happiness,strengthening the construction of teachers’ ethics;The main ways to become “independent teachers” are: support and guidance from professional organizations,communication,and dialogue between professional powers.This constitutes a relatively complete path system for the professional development of secondary vocational teachers.In the practice of promoting the professional development of secondary vocational teachers,many special cases have emerged,among which the project of “demand-oriented school-based Teaching and Research” in cooperation between Hunan Anhua Vocational Secondary Schooland Hunan Agricultural University is typical.This project has its ideas and principles,objectives and methods,and has the nature of “teacher professional learning”,which has a significant effect on promoting teachers’ teaching development.By analyzing the goals and paths of teacher’ professional development in secondary vocational schools,an ideal image of secondary vocational teachers is constructed.who can communicate effectively professionally and walk freely in the technological world and teaching field,and at the same time have their service ideal and ethical spirit,and can deal with professional affairs independently.
