Vocational education is closely linked to economic and social development and plays an important role in promoting employment and entrepreneurship,boosting economic and social development and improving people’s well-being.Along with the sustained development of economy and the transformation of industry,the key of the future vocational education lies in promoting the theoretical knowledge level,the degree of professional skill mastery,the comprehensive quality and vocational ideas of the professional personnel.However,as an important part of our vocational education,secondary vocational education has some problems in its classroom teaching,such as emphasizing theory over practice,students’ subjectivity is not strong,and teaching effect is not ideal.It is an important way to solve these basic problems via exploring innovate teaching methods,optimizing teaching design,creating a learning atmosphere with equal emphasis on theory and practice,promoting teaching reform and innovation of secondary vocational education,and cultivating compound talents with professional knowledge and skills.As a new teaching method,action-oriented teaching method manifests a complete action step.It emphasizes student-centered and ability-oriented learning,and pays attention to the students’ enthusiasm and initiative,which conforms to the requirements of compound talents in secondary vocational schools.Therefore,this paper applies the action-oriented teaching method to the course "Basic Accounting" in A secondary vocational school,in order to improve the teaching effect of the course and promote the cultivation of high-quality professionals.Firstly,this work adopts literature research method to understand the research status of action-oriented teaching method,and clarifies the core concepts and theoretical basis.Secondly,through questionnaire survey and interview method,the teaching status of "Basic Accounting" in A secondary vocational school is investigated and analyzed,and it is found that there are some problems in the teaching,such as students’ low interest and enthusiasm in learning,less practical learning,and insufficient innovation in teaching methods.Furthermore,the necessity of using action-oriented teaching method is further expounded.Then,according to relevant theories,the overall instructional design of "Basic Accounting" course is carried out based on actionoriented teaching method,including teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching activities and teaching evaluation,and the overall instructional design framework of action-oriented teaching method is also constructed.Besides,a specific teaching practice is carried out via taking the task of "filling in and checking accounting vouchers" in the teaching content as an example.By comparing test results of experimental class and control class,statistical analysis of questionnaire and interview results,the teaching practice effect is evaluated and teaching reflection is carried out on this basis,and the shortcomings are further analyzed and corresponding improvement measures are proposed.Finally,this paper summarizes and looks forward to the future teaching practice exploration.The results show that the action-oriented teaching method is conducive to improving the teaching effect of Basic Accounting course in secondary vocational schools.The relevant research and teaching practice exploration of action-oriented teaching method can provide certain references for the teaching reform of "Basic Accounting" course and the training of accounting talents in secondary vocational schools,which is of great significance for promoting the improvement of curriculum teaching effect and the training of high-quality talents in secondary vocational schools.
