| Tourism vocational education is an important way to cultivate high-quality tourism practitioners.Promoting innovation in tourism vocational education teaching and creating a learning atmosphere that emphasises both theory and practice can help improve the quality of tourism vocational education personnel training,and thus promote structural reform in the supply of tourism service personnel resources and the transformation and upgrading of the tourism industry.However,at the present stage,tourism vocational education personnel training faces problems such as traditional teaching methods and students’ mastery of basic vocational skills,and it is urgent to explore innovative teaching methods and optimise teaching design in order to cultivate tourism service personnel with rich theoretical knowledge,outstanding practical skills and high comprehensive vocational ability.The action-oriented teaching method is a kind of teaching organisation plan which is based on a complete action model and aims to transfer vocational knowledge and develop professional skills.Therefore,the article attempts to apply the action-oriented teaching method to the middle-level “tour guide business” course to explore the feasibility of the method in the teaching of “tour guide business” course and its effect on the improvement of the teaching effect of tourism service majors.Guided by constructivist theory,action regulation theory and humanistic teaching theory,the article uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey and case study method to analyse the current situation of the application of action-oriented teaching method in the course of “Tour Guide Business” in secondary vocational schools,based on a questionnaire survey of teachers and students of tourism services in secondary vocational schools.The case of the first section of Chapter 13 of the course is selected as a teaching case,and the teaching design is based on the principles of action-oriented teaching method,and then the teaching practice is carried out and the effect of the teaching practice is evaluated.By reflecting on the teaching implementation process,the application of action-oriented teaching method in the middle-level “tour guide business”course is optimized and improved from three levels: school,teachers and students.Research has shown that the use of action-oriented teaching methods in the middle-level“Tour Guide Business” not only helps students to achieve their teaching objectives,but also helps them to improve their comprehensive vocational skills;schools should encourage and support teachers to actively carry out action-oriented teaching activities,and exercise and improve their action-oriented teaching skills.Schools should also strengthen the construction of teaching resources and teaching facilities for the Guide Business course to provide software and hardware for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning;teachers should actively strengthen their self-learning,and refine and improve action-oriented teaching design by taking into account students’ learning situations.At the same time,teachers should play the role of a good guide,starting from the three stages of pre-course pre-study,in-class implementation and post-course mention to ensure the implementation of the Guide Business course teaching based on the action-oriented teaching method;The class leader plays a leading role in learning and actively participates in action-oriented teaching and learning activities,thus achieving enhanced learning outcomes. |
