Analysis On The Coupling And Coordination Of Digital Economy And Real Economy Development In Chinese Provinces

As the foundation of the national economy,the real economy is the foothold of national economic development,the source of wealth creation,and an important pillar of national prosperity.The report of the20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China recently pointed out that ’ insist on putting the focus of economic development on the real economy,promote new industrializat ion,accelerate the construction of manufacturing power,quality power,aerospace power,transportation power,network power,and digital China ’,defines the importance of revitalizing the real economy from a strategic perspective.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,with the constant updating and iteration of science and technology,the digital economy which takes modern information network as an important carrier and information and communication technology as an important driving force has appeared in the center of global economic activity.According to the CAICT Academy in 2021,the digital economy was not affected by the epidem ic and made new breakthroughs,and its economic scale has reached 45.5 trillion yuan.Its role as the ’ accelerator ’ and ’ stabilizer ’ of the macro economy has become increasingly prominent.The rapid development of the digital economy has brought unprecedented impact on a global scale.It is becoming a key force in reconstructing the global economic structure and changing the global competition landscape.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "the digital economy is the future direction of global developm ent." In the context of high-quality economic development and the process of accelerating the construction of China’s modern economic power,the development of the real economy and the digital economy will be two important ly indispensable engines.It has become an important issue of great concern that objectively understand the relationship between the digital economy and the real economy,and made efforts to achieve the coupling coordinated development of the two.Based on this,according to the theory of coupling coordinated development,this paper analyzes the interaction mechanism between digit al economy and real economy,and takes digital economy and real economy as two subsystems of the coupling system to measure the level of coupling and coordinated development.Uppermost,according to the principle of index selection,try to establish a coupled coordination system evaluation index system.Construct the digital economy subsystem index system from three dimensions: digit al infrastructure level,digital applicat ion developm ent,digital development environment.And the real economy sub-system indicator system is constructed from three levels:development scale,economic efficiency and development potential.Subsequently,the entropy method is used to calculate the comprehensive index of development of the digital economy and the real economy using provincial panel data from 2013 to 2020,and analyze its level of development.Than,the coupling coordination degree model is constructed to measure the coupling coor dination degree of digital economy and real economy,so as to evaluate the level of coupling and coordinat ion development of digital economy and real economy in 31 provinces of China.Finally,the specific factors and the magnitude of factors affecting the level of coupled and coordinated development of the digit al economy and the real economy are explored through the gray correlation analysis.The results of the study show that the epidemic did not have an impact on the development of the digital economy,and that the development of the digital economy in each province showed an incremental trend with a moderate growth rate.There are obvious regional differences between the east and the west,among which the level of digital infrastructure and digital application development are the main forces driving its development.The digital economy and real economy are integrating constantly in each province,showing a obvious trend of coupling and coordinat ion.However,there are certain differences,as shown by the fact that regions with fast development of digital economy also have high coupling coordinat ion,reflecting the posit ive contribution of digital economy to coordinated developm ent.The degree of coupling and coordinated development of each province presents a spatial development pattern of ’ eastern leading,central and western catching up ’.The indexes within the two subsystems are mainly highly correlated.In general,the correlation degree of each index to the coupling coordinat ion system is generally high.Among them,digital infrastructure level,digit al application development,scale and efficiency of the real economy are the key factors affecting the coordinated development of the two systems.
