Research On The Improvement Of College Students’ Political Identity Using Red Culture

Political identity refers to people’s recognition and approval of a certain social system and ideology.In contemporary China,political identity manifests itself in upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics,which is one of the important factors in the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.As a vibrant and dynamic member of society,college students are also one of the main subjects of political identity.The cause of socialist modernization requires the support and participation of young college students.The political identity of college students is related to whether they can adhere to socialism with Chinese characteristics in theory,whether they can practice the Party’s purpose in practice,and whether they can put the Party’s spirit into concrete practice.In today’s world,the phenomenon of cultural invasion is becoming increasingly serious,network information is mixed,and various social trends collide with each other,causing some "noise" to be very noisy.College students who have not yet entered social life have not yet matured in their minds and are vulnerable to the erosion of bad culture,which can easily lead to ideological wavering at important turning points.Red cultural resources are precious wealth formed in the process of CPC leading the people to achieve national independence,national prosperity and people’s liberation.They are also China’s unique advantageous resources,which are widely distributed in various regions and reflect the Chinese people’s endless spiritual pursuit.The strong emotions contained in red cultural resources are an important factor in the process of college students’ firm and correct political beliefs.From the perspective of integrating theory with practice,standing on the Marxist standpoint,this thesis analyzes problems from the perspectives of dialectical materialism and historical materialism,promotes problem solving under the guidance of a pragmatic methodology,and collects relevant literature on red cultural resources and political identity.Based on a preliminary analysis and grasp of the relevant theories of red cultural resources and college students’ political identity,this thesis analyzes the current situation and reasons for using red cultural resources to enhance college students’ political identity using methods such as literature research and questionnaire survey,and proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for these issues.This article is mainly divided into the following four parts: The first part is introduction.This article analyzes the background,purpose,and significance of this study,combs the current research status of red cultural resources and college students’ political identity at home and abroad,and clarifies the main content,key and difficult points,innovation points,and research ideas and methods of this thesis.The second part mainly explains the relevant theories of red cultural resources and college students’ political identity.Firstly,it expounds the connotation of red cultural resources,as well as the basic characteristics,basic types,and functions of red cultural resources.Secondly,it elaborates the connotation of political identity,the connotation of college students’ political identity,and the main characteristics of college students’ political identity,laying a theoretical foundation for the full text.The third part analyzes the current situation and reasons of using red cultural resources to enhance college students’ political identity.Through a questionnaire,this thesis analyzes the achievements and existing problems of using red cultural resources to enhance college students’ political identity,and understands the reasons for these problems.And summed up five levels of factors,such as the social environment,many negative factors,some colleges and universities do not pay enough attention to it,there are shortcomings in family education,the negative impact of online media,and some college students’ comprehensive quality needs to be improved.This article summarizes the current situation and reason analysis of using red cultural resources to enhance college students’ political identity,and prepares for proposing corresponding strategies.The fourth part is also the key part of this article.Based on the previous research,this thesis proposes strategies for using red cultural resources to enhance college students’ political identity,which mainly include the following five parts:giving play to the role of social guidance and optimizing the social and political environment;Giving full play to the leading and promoting role of universities and enhancing the political consciousness of college students;Strengthen the red theme of family education and create a red family atmosphere;Utilize the influence of network platforms to create a red network education model;College students participate in red cultural activities to enhance their sense of political identity.
