Ideological and political education is an important way for secondary vocational schools to carry out the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people.In the new era,secondary vocational schools should not only train students’ professional skills and expand their knowledge reserves,but also develop ideological and political education and improve their comprehensive quality.Based on the previous studies,this paper takes the s vocational education center in Weifang as the main body of the case study,through questionnaires,interviews and direct observation,to obtain the first-hand information about the overall situation of ideological and political education in secondary vocational schools,and then to deeply analyze a series of problems in ideological and political education in secondary vocational schools and the reasons behind them,and on strengthening and improving the ideological and political education to put forward some practical value strategies.This paper focuses on the analysis of secondary vocational schools in the subject teaching system,team building system,management service system,daily education system,assessment and evaluation system problems,such as: ideological and political course content is not fresh,the teaching method is mechanical,the curriculum ideological and political development is insufficient;the structure of the ideological and political teachers is unreasonable,the ability of ideological and political education is not strong;The assessment is not scientific enough.At the same time,this paper analyzes the reasons from the subject and object of ideological and political education and social environment,it points out that schools,families and enterprises have a one-sided understanding of ideological and political education,and students themselves do not attach importance to ideological and political education,the influence of social inherent cognition and the impact of information technology on ideological and political education are the important reasons for the problems of ideological and political education in Secondary vocational schools.Based on the analysis of the problems and the causes,this paper puts forward the improvement strategies of ideological and political education in secondary vocational schools,which mainly include: deepening the ideological and political curriculum and the ideological and political innovation of the curriculum,building up the main position of ideological and political education;To strengthen the construction of education team,cultivate the main force of ideological and political education;to strengthen management service,innovate the mechanism of ideological and political education;to optimize daily education,enrich the path of ideological and political education;to improve assessment and evaluation,stimulate the vitality of ideological and political education.
