| In recent years,with the introduction of relevant labor education policies by the Ministry of Education,the value of labor courses has gradually received attention.In April 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the "Standards for Labor Courses in Compulsory Education",which separates labor courses from comprehensive practical courses,affirming the unique value and educational function of labor courses.As a basic approach to the implementation of labor education,there are still many problems in the implementation of labor curriculum,which urgently need to be studied.Based on the design of labor curriculum standards,questionnaires and interviews were conducted on the implementation of labor curriculum.Teachers and students in grades 5 and 6 of 28 primary schools in S District of Qingdao City(Shandong Province Primary and Secondary School Labor Education Experimental Zone)were selected as the survey subjects.Two classes and their labor curriculum teachers were randomly selected from each primary school for investigation.A total of 1081 student papers and 112 teacher papers were collected,and semi-structured interviews were conducted with 8 labor teachers and 8 students.Inadequate emphasis on labor curriculum.Research has found that under the background of the new curriculum standards,there are still the following shortcomings in the implementation of labor courses in primary schools: insufficient emphasis on labor courses by teachers and students;Traditional and inefficient teaching and evaluation methods for labor courses;Insufficient participation of family and school in collaborative education;Insufficient follow-up on the implementation of labor courses.There are four reasons for the above problems: the neglect of the value of labor education;Insufficient transformation and implementation of the requirements of the new curriculum standards;The collaborative education between family,school,and society is not high during the implementation of labor courses;The guarantee mechanism for the implementation of labor courses is not perfect.Through interviews with multiple teachers,it was found that the implementation of the rural labor curriculum in S Primary School has achieved significant results.Examples of outstanding cases are presented from three aspects: the background and development path of the rise of the rural labor curriculum in S Primary School,the creation and implementation process,and the implementation effectiveness and experience.Transform and implement the concept of labor curriculum standards from the school;Collaborating efforts from family,school,and society to promote the development of rural curriculum;Build a solid rural curriculum guarantee mechanism,analyze the successful experience of case studies from three aspects,and provide inspiration and reference for the implementation of labor courses in other schools.Based on the requirements of the new curriculum standards,combined with the common problems discovered in the survey and the inspiration from excellent cases,the following improvement strategies are proposed: firstly,attach importance to labor and face the value of labor courses;Secondly,innovate teaching methods,actively create teaching contexts,and integrate "teaching and practice" to highlight the practicality and comprehensiveness of labor courses;Thirdly,multi role collaborative evaluation,taking into account both regular performance evaluation and stage comprehensive evaluation,fully leveraging the evaluation function of labor courses;Fourthly,strengthen class hour supervision,integrate and utilize labor education base resources,create a specialized and diversified labor course teaching team,and make good use of "inviting in" and "going out" to improve the labor course teaching research and training mechanism. |
