As an important content of the national education system,labor education is one of the important contents of comprehensively implementing the basic requirements of the party’s education policy and implementing quality education.Curriculum is an important carrier for the implementation of labor education.In recent years,many schools have combined their own advantages to carry out labor education courses and have obtained certain experience.However,labor education courses are still blurred,weakened and marginalized under the background of intellectualism.At present,to build a comprehensive and systematic modern education system,it is necessary to make up for the shortcomings of labor education and pay attention to the development of labor education courses in the new era.This research focuses on the implementation of labor education curriculum,and selects H Primary School,located in the urban-rural fringe area of Lanzhou City,as the case school for related research.On the one hand,this research is based on the constituent elements of curriculum implementation to compile a questionnaire for students and teachers,and conduct a questionnaire survey on the implementation status of labor education curriculum for all students and teachers in grades 3-6.Among them,296 questionnaires were issued to students and 296 were returned.The questionnaire response rate was 100%.After eliminating 7 invalid questionnaires(4 blanks and 3 with the same answer),291 valid questionnaires were finally obtained,with an effective rate of 98.3%.A total of 40 teacher questionnaires were distributed and 40 were returned.The questionnaire response rate and effective rate were both 100%.On the other hand,using the interview method to conduct semi-structured interviews and unstructured interviews with H primary school principals(1),teachers(11),students(17)and parents(3),and combine the observation method with the collected.The analysis of physical data provides an overall and comprehensive grasp of the current status of the implementation of the current H primary school labor education curriculum.The analysis found that H Elementary School has some significant experience in the implementation of labor education courses,including the initial construction of school-based labor education curriculum structure,the initial formation of curriculum design with local characteristics,and the development and expansion of labor education curriculum practices.The base platform and campus labor culture have been cultivated to a certain degree in four aspects.However,there are also obvious problems such as the overall need to improve the concept of labor education curriculum,the design of the school curriculum system needs to be improved,and the overall curriculum implementation conditions need to be supplemented.On the basis of further analysis of data analysis,it is found that the factors that affect the implementation of the H primary school labor education curriculum include the reform itself,the school’s internal and external three main factors.Specifically embodied in: the vague understanding of labor education policy documents,the limited use of labor education curriculum resources,the impact of the principal’s curriculum leadership,the impact of the lack of professionalism of the teacher team,the dual impact of examination evaluation on the implementation of the labor curriculum.It is difficult to form a synergy between home,school and society and education administrative support is limited,insufficient professional support of teaching and research institutions,etc.The study found that the implementation of the labor education curriculum of H primary school is closely related to the principal’s curriculum leadership,the resources of the labor curriculum inside and outside the school affect the degree of students’ embodied participation,the level of the teaching staff affects the quality of the implementation of labor education curriculum,and the improvement of the labor education evaluation system are the shortcomings that affect the implementation of the curriculum.Therefore,to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of the primary school labor curriculum,it is necessary to play the core role of the principal’s curriculum leadership,enrich and update the school’s labor curriculum resources,strengthen the construction of labor education teachers,and improve the labor education curriculum evaluation system.Promote the further improvement of the implementation of labor education courses in individual schools,promote the labor education courses to glow with new vigor and vitality in the new era,and finally realize the all-round development of students’ body and mind.
