| Improving students’ labor literacy is the central point of labor education in the new era,as well as the basic guarantee for labor to create value.A good labor class is both an important way to implement labor education in schools and an important way to cultivate students’ personal labor literacy.An independent labor curriculum plays an important role in cultivating students’ labor concepts,labor abilities,labor habits and qualities,and labor spirit.Since the promulgation of the Compulsory Education Labor Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition),many urban primary and secondary schools have also been improving the implementation of the labor curriculum and have achieved remarkable results.However,in most areas of China,there are still many dilemmas and problems in the implementation of the labor curriculum.This paper takes Primary School H in Taiyuan City as the research object,and through an in-depth study and analysis of the implementation of the labor curriculum in Primary School H,we can fully understand the current situation of the implementation of the labor curriculum in elementary school,which can not only enrich and expand the experience gained in the implementation of the labor curriculum,but also explore the problems and causes of the implementation of the curriculum,and also provide some references for the implementation of the labor curriculum in other schools in and outside the province The study found that the labor curriculum in Primary School H was not only a good one,but also a good one.The study found that the labour curriculum of Primary School H has been implemented in a variety of ways,not only to promote the construction of the school’s labour curriculum,but also to promote the development of students’ labour literacy and enhance the professional competence of teachers.At the same time,the school’s labour culture has been disseminated to a certain extent.However,there are some obvious problems in the implementation of the labour curriculum in Primary School H.For example,students’ understanding of the scope of the labour curriculum is not deep enough,the form of the labour curriculum is not standardised,the content of the labour curriculum is not comprehensive,there are not enough resources for the labour curriculum,teachers’ grasp of the labour curriculum is not comprehensive,and there are problems in the classroom teaching of the labour curriculum.In response to these problems,the researcher’s interviews and in-depth classroom observations revealed that the main reasons for the problems in the implementation of the labour curriculum in primary school H were:inappropriate labour values,the social culture of "pursuing high grades",the lack of external measures to monitor the implementation of the labour curriculum,the lack of long-term interest in the implementation of the labour curriculum,the lack of resources in the labour curriculum,and the lack of teachers in the labour curriculum.The reasons for this are: inappropriate work values,a one-sided "pursuit of grades" social culture,lack of external supervision of work curriculum implementation,lack of long-term interest in work curriculum implementation,lack of work curriculum resources,lack of work literacy among work curriculum teachers,and parents’ lack of attention to work education for children in the family context.The following strategies are proposed for these reasons,including firmly establishing the concept of labour education in the new era,actively integrating labour curriculum resources,ensuring that the education administration does a good job of safeguarding the labour curriculum,grasping the implementation of all aspects of the labour curriculum,strengthening the construction of labour curriculum teachers,improving the assessment system of the labour curriculum,and strengthening the synergy between home and school in labour education. |
