A Practical Study On The Improvement Of Children’s Parental Rearing Efficacy

With the continuous development and progress of society,urban parents generally believe in the concept of eugenics and good education,and pay more and more attention to the quality of their children’s upbringing.The traditional pampering,laissez faire and beating and scolding education methods can not give full play to the expected results.As a result,parents have ushered in new child rearing anxiety,and the sense of parental rearing efficacy is reduced.When the local epidemic swept through N Street of D City in June,children "stopped classes and schools" at home.However,the family service center of N Street received more calls from parents to inquire about parental education than before the epidemic.Family parental education counseling urgently needs the intervention of social workers.Taking the project Group work of three one school for parents in D City as an example,this paper adopts the practice research of social work,continuously improves the service through demand research and the specific practice of the three-phase group,and discusses how social workers take actions to make the change of children’s parents effective.The study found that in the experience stage of group work,social workers should "disturb" parents,help parents "emotional focus" and help parents and children "deep connection" to let parents get "experience";In the reflection stage,"disturbance" and "reflection" complement each other;In the induction stage,focus on guiding parents to summarize their acquired experience;In the application stage,create life practice opportunities and strengthen parents’ positive experience.Through practical research and reflection,social workers should establish a long-term follow-up and support mechanism in the group work design and follow-up evaluation stage;Social workers should return the research focus to the family itself,build a three-dimensional community platform at the level of community service,and provide diversified services of family education,which is more conducive to promoting the improvement of parental efficacy.
