The main reason why high school physics is difficult is that students’ understanding of physical problems remains on the surface and cannot rise to a higher level.Most of them stay at the level of literal representation,or directly transition from literal representation to mathematical representation when solving problems,which is what we often call formulas.However,compared to other representations,visual graphics provide structural equivalents to the research object and are therefore more conducive to problem solving.This research aims to cultivate students’ graphic representation ability in high school physics teaching.The application of Geo Gebra software in the teaching of physical graphic representation is used for theoretical discussion and practical research.The details are as follows:Firstly,this paper analyzes the research status of graphic representation ability at home and abroad,analyzes the theoretical viewpoints of domestic and foreign scholars on graphic representation ability and graphic representation teaching,determines what is graphic representation ability,understands that students’ graphic representation ability is weak and current scholars How do they develop students’ graphic representation ability;At the same time,the domestic and foreign research status of Geo Gebra software application in physics teaching is reviewed,the feasibility of Geo Gebra software application in physics teaching is analyzed,and the functions and characteristics of Geo Gebra software in physics teaching are summarized.The direction is determined in the teaching of graphic representation.Second,this research investigates the current situation of 90 senior high school students’ physical graphics representation ability in the form of tests,aiming to grasp the problems and difficulties existing in the process of physical graphics representation of students.At the same time,based on the status quo investigation of students’ physical graphic representation ability,Geo Gebra software cultivates students’ graphic representation ability from four aspects: Geo Gebra software based on visual creation of situations,based on richness-based guidance and analysis,based on accurate auxiliary diagrams,and based on visualization to break through visual barriers.ideas for research.Third,use Geo Gebra software as an auxiliary tool to conduct practical research.On the one hand,the application approach and method of using Geo Gebra software to cultivate students’ graphic representation ability are put forward,and the students’ graphic representation ability is cultivated from the concrete examples in high school physics teaching.On the other hand,Geo Gebra designed a classroom teaching link to cultivate students’ graphic representation ability,and cultivated and developed students’ graphic representation ability in the process of physics classroom teaching in different classes.Finally,through the analysis of students’ academic performance and interview analysis,we learned that Geo Gebra software has a certain positive impact on the improvement of students’ academic performance,and students’ recognition of Geo Gebra software for assisting high school physics graphic representation teaching.
