At present,China’s sports industry is in a stage of rapid development,and its status and role in the national economy have been significantly improved.The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee gave clear instructions to the sports industry:the "Three Balls" revitalization project established an event system with a complete system,reasonable layout,point certification and orderly supervision.As one of the "three balls",basketball has a wide public base in China,and the related sports industry is also large,but the operation and development of China’s professional basketball CBA league in recent years is not ideal.In order to respond to the national call,it is particularly important to accelerate the brand upgrade of the CBA league,enhance the brand value of the event and its own profitability,and form a professional league with world influence.Taking the Chinese Men’s Basketball Professional League(CBA)as the research object,this paper uses the literature method,analysis and comparison method,expert interview method,logical analysis method and data statistics method to study the operation status of the CBA league,analyzes the production,communication and sales links of the event one by one,summarizes the practical dilemma of the CBA league in forming an influence economy and gives corresponding suggestions,and strives to enrich the research perspective of sports events,expand the influence of the CBA league,and Improve the brand value of the league and provide a certain reference for its own profitability.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)In the production link of the CBA League,there are problems such as loss of club revenue,frequent uncivilized phenomenon in the field,low accuracy of referee’s decision,heavy dependence on foreign aid,few channels for player transportation,and low overall competitive balance of the game.(2)In the communication link of CBA League,there are some problems,such as fewer communication channels,insufficient number of live broadcast slots and slow updating of broadcast technology.(3)There are problems such as unreasonable ticket prices and backward promotion strategies in the sales link of CBA.(4)Combining the theory of influence economy and the background of national policies and social and cultural environment,the practical path of influence economy of CBA League is proposed from three aspects: optimizing the production link to obtain attention resources,improving the communication link to expand the influence of the game,improving the sales link to obtain influence resources.
